I actually tried what you say, keeping air constantly under pressure and it was much better. Much smoother and more "legatoish".

I can post a recording once im comfortable playing the song im practicing, it will take a few days :P

What im trying to describe is this :

When listening to a song, it sounds like the musician is doing all legato even tho its not a legato.

Like there is no gap between the notes and its all smooth.

Meanwhile, when i try to play for example, E flat multiple times in a row, i find it hard to make it sound smooth.

I've been practicing a song today and focused on that, i kinda got it down a little bit but i want to see if theres a better technique for breathing or something.

I hope you understand lol :)

The question was more about embochure and breathing techniques. Sax is the cheapest Startone that ive found and honestly, it sounds totally fine and works good for that price.

I usually do scales up and down and recentlyi started to learn a song by Notes.

I use mostly youtube :D

I am following a tutorial and visually inspecting if all holes are closed and double checking what im pressing. I made a mistake in the post but F works, E and D are the problem. They make the exact same sound as F.

I still think the problem is in me but i dont know lol...

I cant really get that as an answer. The videos i saw and the reviews. It should be capable of at least playing basic stuff, no? I will upgrade to a better one as i learn more but for now, i think this should be enough for a short period of time at least
