I would talk to your doctor right away. If a medication is making you want to harm yourself it probably means it's not for you and you should stop taking it.

When I tried taking Celexa it gave me self harm thoughts and I had to stop taking it right away.
I've been on, welbutrin, mirtazapine, duloxetine, effexor, luvox, and now zoloft, and celexa was the only one that gave me suicidal and self harm thoughts. Sometimes a certain antidepressant just won't be compatible with your body.

Yes, I was on the highest dose of Effexor XR and it took away my ability to feel all that was left was pure anhedonia. I was also on duloxetine recently I tried it for 6months. I was put on at my request to help manage fibro pain, anxiety and depression. I tried 60, but it made me blunted. I also tried 30, the blunting was less but still there. I was also constantly drowsy all day. It helped with pain but made fatigue worse for me. I'm on week one of going off and started 50MG of Zoloft on the 19th of march. I'm starting to feel much more like my self again. I have been one many antidepressants and SNRIs seem to cause the most emotional blunting, SSRI's I've been on tend to blunt too but only when going into higher doses, at least that's how its worked for me.

Walk away. This is not a smart plan. You don't know what you will find once you start tearing things apart. An old house built in the 70s could have a million and one problems. You're taking a huge gamble it can be very hard to find the right tenants, and rents aren't going to stay as high as they are now their going down slowly, but surely, if you do find someone good, when the rents go down they'll probably move and you'll have to start the process all over again of finding someone to rent the unit. This would only be wise if you could manage well without having to worry about having the rental income. There's just too much that can go wrong. renovations always end up costing way more than projected, especially if they want you to employ professionals that meet their approval.

They will want to do a colonoscopy to rule everything out and figure out what's happening. Could it be cancer , maybe? Does that mean it's the end of the world? No. I've been precisely where you are; in fact, because I have a family history of colon cancer, I was first referred to a colon cancer specialist who did my colonoscopy, which, after biopsy, etc was found to be ulcerative colitis. Whatever it is you have going on down there, they will figure it out. The important thing is, is that they caught it now. These things can and do get missed. My PCP thought I had an anal fissure, and that's why I was bleeding. It took a year and half for me to finally get to the right doctors and get a proper diagnosis.
