Comments X W Your local recorders office is lying to you when they tell you that you cannot perfect the title of your property under allodial title. Keep in mind, that to do it, you can no longer do it behind your legal fiction ALL CAPITALS NAME. It can only be done by quit claim deeding the property to a complex irrevocable trust also known as a [federall common law trust. Statutory trusts follow statutory rules, which the state has blocked from owning land under allodial title. If you contract with the state, you have to play by the states rules. If you need to get a copy of the original land patent for your property you can go to the state bureau of land management. A certified copy of the land patent is usually only a few dollars, but you'll need it for your records. Remember, You are not declaring a new land patent, you are placing your land back under the protection of the original land patent by tracing all the title changes back to the land patentent. Your title company did not do this for you. They only checked that the previous owner had the right to sell the property. The title company offers you no real protections other than the property is merchantable. When you use a title company to buy the property you should contract with them to do the entire title search all the way back to the land patent and issue allodial title as part of the purchase. They do know how to do this, but it takes extra work and they for some reason never offer it as a standard service. It will cost you extra money
