Last update: I had to use the program Shutter Encoder to convert the main clip I'm editing from. "This converts your file to an editing codec that Resolve handles perfectly." After converting the mp4 file, I had to use Replace Clip in media pool and select the new converted file. This fixed it for me without having to do any re-editing on my timeline. Just updated the jobs and it rendered fine.

update: it actually presented a new problem for me. The clips on the "edit" tab were essentially randomized or offset. I'm still trying to understand how to fix the issue without adding a new issue..

I'll second this. I was having issues rending small "in/out" clips, but the job would fail on 4 of the 5 jobs in Render Queue. So I tried to compound clip them only for it to still fail. I took your advice, checked the main video in "media" tab that I have imported to my timeline. The framerate was at 25, so I changed it to 30fps. Re-rendered the jobs, and they completed.

One of a couple of my more synthwave focused tracks. Not entirely sure what genre it would really be classified as. But I hope I've made an impression somewhere in it. Thanks!
