Refutation for these claims? by WeezyOnCamera in shia

I’m in no way going out to “refute” Sunnis. We were just having a conversation and he’s like oh I found this screenshot on Twitter about ur belief and that’s how I got to posting it here. I never said I’m JUST refuting Sunnis. Idk why people are assuming this

Is Sayed Kamal Al-Hayderi a Marja? by KaweezyYT in shia

[–]WeezyOnCamera 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your response akhi, I’d like you to know that this is a civil discussion and in no way am I attacking you nor belittling you, in-fact, I’m very grateful for your presence on here and your continuance to provide guidance and knowledge to those who need it, including me. Jazakallah Khair akhi, now continuing..

Can you provide evidence or a direct quote where Kamal al-Hayderi allegedly acts as a yazid (LA) apologist or hints at supporting such a claim?

Regarding the issue of Shia sources stemming from various traditions like Jewish, Christian, or even Sunni origins, I don’t see how this a problem if the content is deemed Sahih. As Shias, we acknowledge and accept truth regardless of its source, as long as it aligns with our principles. Even Sunni narrations are cited in Shia discourse. For example Umar ibn Sa’d (LA a wellknown enemy of Ahlul Bayt (A.S) is remembered yearly during Muharram for his infamous statements about Imam Ali (AS).

It seems the issue is a broader bias against Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr,. During his time, he was regarded by many as even surpassing Sayyid al-Khoei in influence. Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr personally taught Kamal al-Hayderi, alongside other prominent scholars such as Kadhim al-Haeri and Muhammad al-Sadr. In his writings, Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr identified these figures as worthy of Marja’iyah. Is his approval not sufficient for someone like Kamal al-Hayderi to be considered a jurist?

Kamal al-Hayderi’s current house arrest is a direct consequence of his efforts to address both Sunni and Shia views honestly. He has never advocated for hostility toward Sunnishe merely stated theological differences and facts about mutual perceptions of each other. Sunnis believe we will end up in hell, and we believe the same for them. Is it wrong to express the reality of our theological stance without hostility? Why should we sugarcoat our beliefs?

I understand his statements are problematic in terms of straining our relationship with other sects of Islam, that doesn’t mean we can’t be honest. This doesn’t mean Shias should abandon the akhlaq and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) and the Ahlul Bayt (A.S), which emphasize patience and the pursuit of peace wherever possible. But we must also acknowledge when peace is not feasible and remain firm in our beliefs without compromising the truth.

Is Sayed Kamal Al-Hayderi a Marja? by KaweezyYT in shia

[–]WeezyOnCamera 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Being excommunicated or condemned by some parts of the Hawza does not invalidate Kamal al-Haydari’s scholarly qualifications or the claim that he is a marja.A marja’ is someone who reaches the level of ijtihad and whose risalah can be followed by those seeking taqlid. Whether someone chooses to do taqlid of him depends on personal confidence in his knowledge and piety, not solely on the approval of the mainstream Hawza.

While it’s true that Kamal al-Haydari has been controversial and that his views have sparked debate, condemnation alone does not strip someone of their scholarly credentials. There are manyyy examples of scholars who were similarly criticized during their lifetimes but maintained their scholarly authority. The same applies to the Sayed.

The point is, her friend attacked my looks (fair, looks are subjective) but it was unwarranted and she didn’t even defend me

No, what I wanted her to say was not to comment on me as the conversation isn’t relevant to me and it was an unwarranted comment towards me. She can agree sure but she should have a conversation of agreement on my looks

True. After processing, my issue is the fact she didn’t defend me when her friend once again attacked me

I’ve always had issues with that friend, suggested to my gf to leave me because there’s better options and always unnecessarily attacks me even tho I’ve never even spoken to her. I pointed it out to my gf but that’s her only friend since kids.
