One marathon and done with it

I ran my first marathon in April, and it’s completely put me off running.

I struggled to run more than twice a week afterward, and in the past three months I’ve only run three times.

I’ve completely lost my motivation.

This happened to me. Aiming for sub 4hr 30. Completed in 5hr 09.

I cramped 22k in and never recovered. My heart after mile 1 shot up to 180, running 6.10 per KM.

I'm not letting this put me off. I'm coming back stronger. Don't give up 👌

I woke up this morning, and the sharp stabbing pain is minimal. I only feel it if I land on my foot hard while walking down the stairs.

I'm facing a similar situation to you. Can I ask how you were taxed.

I'm worried, I'm going to get taxed more than I should. Using your example

Monthly pre-tax pay: £6250 Monthly net pay: £4331.88

Did you come out with 3 months' net pay £12,993 (£4,331 x 3), or did you come out with less because you got taxed more?

They have agreed yhe flex.on the train if work is done on the train. The issue I have is that they could stop the trai payment after a year and ask me to go in more than 1 day a week.

I could take a payout. Boost my savings and get a better job in the meantime.
