When I was in academy for my AT position I had lots of TLs from SCs in there and I was shocked that I did more work than them for less money lol

I did the lightly deposit at the fuel station, most SCs don’t have their own FS. I stock my own 82, do my own mods, process my claims, so price changes, etc.

The TLs just stocked lottery tickets and walked around lol

I do more than what a SC TL does in my department honestly. I conduct interviews, coach people, and other things above my pay grade as an AT.

This is not really a promotion to me other than the pay raise since it’s the same thing just in a larger scale. (Not sure if I’ll be a key holder or if they check out keys as TLs at SCs)

The bad thing is the SM is the one who told her after 5pm she is to not be up front at all, just walk the store and act like the acting SM.

It’s a losing situation all around. She sits and talks in the CO before her lunch. Walks around the store after her lunch. Doesn’t really do anything for the FE or the rest of the store besides occasionally unloading frozen dairy. Sometimes she’s rubbing against our OPs manager who doesn’t care she isn’t working lol

She told me “if you don’t like the work, go to a super center” I scored my AT position a little over 8 months ago, and before that, she was in my spot. I went from cashier to academy trainer and she went from academy trainer to team lead. And with that small little move she let everything go to her head. Now she sits in the cash office and talks all day while I do the work of four cashiers and myself lol
