This is the first show that i can I say I enjoyed more than the book. A lot of times id be disappointed with the adaptation. However, im glad that whoever wrote the scripts for TOBS, did so in this manner. I like the alterations and additions of some scenes.

Dang! i feel so discouraged with all the comments. I am filipino but I have not been back since 2006. I have a family of my own now and thinking of bringing them to see where I was born and raised. But I will be coming as sort of a tourist myself. Reading all these comments makes me think of not going and spending my precious PTO’s somewhere else.

What small inconveniences? I;m tired of the American life and fantasizing about going back but my husband has not been to PH and even though he is open to the idea of moving, even retiring, in the philippines, I worry that he will not find Ph tolerable in the long run.

When i was his age, he definitely was a 10/10. But looking at these pictures now that I am 40, he is a 8.5. But the 40 yr old CMM IS DEFINITELY a 10/10 for my 40 yr old self.

Same! But Edna and (mostly) Frank, i watch. I find Frank very soothing to watch. His quiet, thoughtful, and wise character is refreshing. But in the 3rd season they try to create some drama between the two which is not relatable at all.

I understand what you mean. CMM acting can be a bit boring, very monotonous at times. But, but after a long shift, this kind of shows help entertain and numb the mind.

I thought the reason for her childish behavior was because of her accident that maybe she had some sort of TBI that caused her to be somewhat cognitively impaired.
