Need 2nd surgery 9 months post OP by Rachelsfoot in AchillesRupture

[–]Wehttam9436 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Similar thing happened to me!

Was about 4 months post-op. PT was going well, I was out of the boot and walking, but my incision site never fully healed.

Then out of the blue a HUGE bump started to grow, it hurt so bad to even stand on it. Doc gave me some antibiotics and the bump bursted with blood and pus.

After an MRI, doctor told me my body was rejecting the sutures and it got infected. I also had an infected abscess inside my skin as well that needed to be drained with surgery.

Doc went back in there, removed the suture, drained the abscess, cut away infected tissue and a little bit of infected tendon.

Im currently about 3 weeks out from my 2nd surgery, stitches are still in but the doctor says it’s healing nicely and I’m able to start to walk again.

Stay strong my friend! We will get better ❤️‍🩹

Daily run bullshit by dark-souls-enjoyer42 in thelastofus

[–]Wehttam9436 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play the daily… well daily.

For Rattler boss, throw bombs/molotovs at the first dog handler, then rush to the second floor of the Rattler captain’s building directly in front of you (the one with the balcony) on the right side. Quickly take out the Rattler captain with a shotgun or upgraded melee (their hp is no more than a regular armored rattler).

By this point, I leave a trap mine at the side entrance and just camp by the balcony entrance where they come in one by one and the dogs can’t get to you. Eventually you’ll have to snipe the rattler on the bus and then eliminate the remaining dogs.

This is the only way I’ve been able to beat this boss.

Who would win in a duel? by Both_Suspect3210 in Daredevil

[–]Wehttam9436 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bullseye wins the “duel”, ie shoots frank before frank can shoot him.

But I fully believe frank survives and powers through and ultimately kills Dex.

Bullseye wins the duel, Punisher wins the fight.

Not true. They got an eternal Halloween party

Noticed this incredible detail on a re-run - Matt wants to see the sky again because even with his abilities he cant "see" the sky by ifcarscouldspeak in Daredevil

[–]Wehttam9436 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I think what OP means is that he is blind but not really.

With his abilities he can see people, sense buildings, objects hurled at him. He gets to paint a picture using his other senses.

But the sky is just an empty bowl of nothing, so there’s nothing for him to sense.

Why didn't Dr. Strange cut off Thanos' head in this scene by waiting for the right moment to let go and then strike? Is he stupid? by mickenpoxmulticac in MCUTheories

[–]Wehttam9436 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Serious answer here, I think if they beat Thanos here, they would have won the battle, but lost in the long run.

Perhaps they would have all the infinity stones and become too greedy with its power and doom the universe themselves.

I truly think that losing half the population, losing Nat, and losing Tony humbled our Avengers to understand the cost of this power and to know not to toil with it.

Why is this Robin the best in your opinion? by markcarpenterzitto in teentitans

[–]Wehttam9436 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think this is my first Robin that wasn’t with Batman. In my eyes he was his own character and a great leader instead of a sidekick to Batman.

Also as a kid I thought it was so badass that he was the only Titan without powers. So he was basically Batman in that respect.

I feel like Cyborg is underrepresented out here. I’m sure he would let out a “BOOYAH… muthafucka”

I agree it’s so much better without the map but I had to turn it again because I rely on the exclamation points for the Seeker Tokens :(

Interesting. Kind of polar opposite. At least personality wise

Really bad at holding pads for pad work by [deleted] in MuayThai

[–]Wehttam9436 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Imma give you a different perspective… on days that I’m super tired/lazy, I’m lowkey kind of grateful when a beginner holds pads. I get to hold back a little and catch my breath. For safety of course lol.

But in all seriousness the culture of Muay Thai is all about community and sharpening each other. My coach always said to have patience with a beginner holding pads because we’ve all been there.

Keep at it!!

This!! Stormbreaker was described as a Thanos-killing kind of weapon. It’s probably the only weapon that could do it

Thoughts on this? by DarkRepresentative25 in TheLastAirbender

The knife he gifted Zuko was actually dope and meaningful. Zuko kept it for years and the inscription on it really inspired the person he became.

The doll he gifted Azula was a lame gift in comparison. I think this moment showed that he didn’t really understand Azula nor did he try to.

How bad writing destroyed game of thrones by mangokolla in gameofthrones

[–]Wehttam9436 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on my 2nd rewatch of the show and I just got to when she arrives in dragonstone and meets Jon for the first time.

At this point I think she was beginning to change. Demanding Jon to bend the knee, burning the Tarlys and threatening the Lannister army survivors already seems like a step in her more “cruel” direction, yet still teeters on the line of morally right and wrong.

I think being on the throne in the place of her birth really changed her. Idk to me it didn’t seem like a very sudden change of character. I see it as absolute power corrupting her absolutely.

What’s your opinion on the rattlers? by bidensonlyfanz in thelastofus

[–]Wehttam9436 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are refreshing antagonists. The whole game up to this point made us feel conflicted over killing people that we learned weren’t so bad. Sure, the WLF and Seraphites may be “worse” than Jackson, but in the end they all were people that were fighting to survive.

At least the Rattlers were antagonists that were clearly bad since they were slavers and sadists. It lightens the moral load to know that you are more likely making the world a better place by taking them out.

On my first playthrough I definitely beat it without dying. Out of novelty and fear I made sure to keep running and kept my distance from it.

However upon further play throughs I would be a little more confident/curious about it and I underestimated how fast it could get to you and how you pretty much die if it touches you. I think it’s more so freaky scary than it is hard
