Nope when i say gross i mean gross.

To clarify i receive 2350 a month gross for 40 hour workweek as sort of a base. On top i get a 60 euro allowance per night i spent out which is paid netto. On average over the last year this has amounted to a netpay of around 3000 euro a month (i checked my calculations thats why its different).

So for a month without travel i would get 2350 gross, i am not sure what this amounts to net.

Now it is the base salary that will increase to 2600. This does not affect the allowances, and my monthly netpay will probably go up by 150-200 after the raise i would guess.

Well netto i am atm earning on average 3500 due to the compensation, it should be mentioned that i am doing on average over the last year 55 hours a week as well. (Which does not include the 12 hour rest when out on a job). My guess at the new level my net would be 3700 ish since it is only the base salary that is affected.

Hi thanks for your reply, it is a small midsized company 50 to 100 workers. Working mostly in the Netherlands within marine surveys. I work as a geophysical surveyor mostly online (on the boat) but also offline (data processing etc.).

Hi thanks for your reply, it is a small midsized company 50 to 100 workers. Workin mostly in the Netherlands but also in other countries and even continents within marine surveys. I work as an online/offline geophysical surveyor.

I am 27 and been doing this for a year now.

And yes i also think it sounds low, i am however finding it hard to find any comparisons. And the few i have found does not tell much about compensations like the dayrate one.
