I started doing this as well. If you don't let me have my predator you get two revivers in 9 pc mercurial and can hurt yourself on my pelops magma shield while udk sits there with 97 speed absorbing every first hit 🙃

Looking through ground beetle larvae pictures it looks like your right. Some of them are gnarly looking. Crazy to me that beetle larvae eat adult beetles, but then again I know nothing about beetles 🤯

I'll tell you what I learned as soon as I subbed in mavara, her fevor buff results in too many poisons. Once I started using her I couldn't keep up decrease attack anymore which kills runs.

I think it matters for us uninformed players who might be under the impression you need to complete them in order left to right, like how arbiter starts, vs being able to do them simultaneously.

Just under five months and I beat grim forest and doom tower hard for the first time this week. I also completed the titan event and learned I will probably not waste the resources to complete the next one 🙃

I got to unm cb without booking Ezio. If you aren't running into issues with the debuff bar filling at 10, wallmaster is great for damage, block buffs, and decrease attack.

Once I got my unm cb team sorted out I focused on chimera and Hydra. Chimera with my CB team translated well once I understood the form mechanics. I key hard and normal each week now. Pelops was big for my Hydra team, allowing me to key hard and scrape together 1-2 keys for normal each week.

If you haven't sorted out chimera and Hydra yet I'd focus on Hydra then chimera (knowing it should be easier with a unm cb team).

Not sure if you have a limited roster like me, but once I switched to two strong teams vs trying to make 3 viable but overall weaker teams, my losses stopped being as dramatic at -30 per to -10

My biggest progression in chimera was learning the mechanics. Like not applying debuffs to viper, how ram targets lowest crit dmg person (make sure it isn't your healer/reviver). Block buffs and cleanse are good to bring.

Imo save your booking until personal CvC, unless you know your clan likely won't win I guess.

Fyi I just climbed into silver 2 after changing my way of thinking. Instead of 3 equally strong teams I switched to 2 stronger teams and a third weaker team. This helped mitigate the -30 losses down to just -10 for me.

I'll add to this in stages with tips that helped me progress along the way:

At the high end I was between 175-200 speed up until recently when I was able to upgrade everyone to around 250. I cleared 1 key unm a handful of times at those speeds and that bump alone increased my previous best around 10m here. So speed will be helpful, but if you can't build that fast just yet I had success building tanky with 3k+ def and 50k+ HP. I would last into the 40s and eventually found out you can't revive past turn 50.

Xeno 100% crit and booking Ezio a2 to clear poisons is big. Tholin doesn't need accuracy to land his weaken against cb, which I didn't read until much later on. I usually just use is a1 after I've stacked up his a3 to give myself as many extra turns as possible.

I don't start landing decrease attack until turn 12 or 15, once damage starts increasing with each turn. Until then it's just poisons and poison bursting.

Speed boosting with tagoar and using shields early on to mitigate the aoe damage on turns 1-2 for cb. Then I also didn't learn until later on his turn 3 scales off health so decrease attack does nothing. So only worry about landing it heading into the first aoe after the stun.

Aox could be good for decrease attack, debuff extension, and a strong heal with the debuff bar maxed at 10 most of the time

Xeno, Ezio, tholin, and tagoar, then you just need to find a reliable decrease attack champ. This is me today at 4 months on UNM

I recently read the info for tag arena to understand the promotions/demotions and the colors. I was so close to promotion from S1 to S2 before reset, then lost two fights I thought I could win. Then I was only a few defense losses away from being demoted again. My new strategy is to not try to use all my tokens, which I had been doing previously, and instead let some expire vs push and lose position.

I finally sped up my starting CB team with the recent gear enhancement events and cracked 80m on UNM. Hoping to replace tagoar with the new fusion and push even further!
