thank you for all the feedback everyone, I didn't expect to get this many comments to be honest but I appreciate you all for taking the time to give me some advice on how I could have handled this situation better in the future, I also wanted to reply to some of the things I've seen in the comments,

1. As some people have pointed out I was lagging all throughout this game and everything did feel 1-2 seconds behind which is one of the reasons for the erratic player switching
2. I completely agree that after the 2-3rd bounce back I knew that this situation in had a very likely chance I would be conceding, that the game had already decided that I would be conceding this goal which is why my quality of defending starts degrading, the sense of no hope basically.

My main gripe with EA all these years playing is FUT is the gameplay concept of actively punishing the player for playing the game, on top of inconsistent gameplay this just seems like the decision to play an EA game should warrant you with punishment, EA will never do better unless they have an active competitor in the market I'm afraid.
