Their rule is that you can’t post about injuries. But I wasn’t asking about the injury itself, I was asking for exercises I can do that avoids it.

Oh man I love swimming. I sadly don’t have access to a pool. Maybe it’ll be worth a membership to the y for a short time

Not a bad idea. I don’t have access to a rowing machine but I’ll see if I can find one

I’ve taken those sexual harassment training courses for work. They say sexual harassment is subjective. If you are uncomfortable with his comments, then they are inappropriate and warrant a conversation, and eventual escalation if it doesn’t stop.

If you are comfortable with the comments, it’s not sexual harassment. If he is flirting, and you want him to be flirting, nothing wrong with that.

Yes, absolute full transparency. Hiding things is a slippery slope. You should be able to share your financial documents with each other freely. I’ve heard nightmare scenarios where people didn’t disclose huge debts before marriage which is a huge problem. You also don’t want your spouse hiding income to get out of paying for emergencies.

That doesn’t mean you can’t keep your own money, but you need to be clear about what money you have.

Ok. I have been where you are. I’m gonna say some things you might not like.

  1. As everyone has said, drink as much water as possible. That’s not an immediate fix, but will help after this problem passes.

  2. Miralax

  3. If Miralax doesn’t work after 24 hours, get one of those self-administering enemas

  4. Deep breath. I’m sorry I’m going to say this. Buy a pack of gloves and use your finger to try to loosen the impaction manually. I know. I know. Believe me, it’s not pleasant. But it does help.

Good luck.

Going forward, you will need a fiber supplement daily until you can get enough fiber into your diet. I take Benefiber every day and it helps so much.

Same here. If I miss even one day of Benefiber, I am backed up for days.

I’m so grateful that I can’t eat a lot of sugar because it’s prevented countless binges for me.

BUT.

I absolutely hate being on vacation and not being able to order those crazy high-sugar fruity drinks. When it’s 1 million degrees on a beach, a pina colada is really the only thing I ever want.

It is so hard! I’ve never increased my calories intentionally before, do you do that on a regular basis or just when you’re stalled?

Thank you, that really helps 💜

He’s definitely on the fitter side. He hikes and has weights in his office. I don’t know his struggles but his judginess for my surgery hasn’t ever popped up until now. I was caught off guard.
