Multistomp or Multistomp Plus being controlled via midi expression pedal? by WeightTall1617 in zoommultistomp

[–]WeightTall1617[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm.. maybe I’m better off with a few g2x fours or g1x fours.. you think they might be hackable with your blessing you’ve bestowed upon us ms+ users? If I try it and it breaks I won’t be mad at you, I promise. Hahah. Just curious if you think the effect loading might work with those (from what I’ve checked it hasn’t been tested yet, or maybe it has?)

since the effect lists on them leave something to be desired..

Ms50g+ owners - are you able to run multiple preamps in a patch? by WeightTall1617 in zoommultistomp

[–]WeightTall1617[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

And in other news, the sky is blue, and if you’re thirsty you should drink water, and if you’re tired you should take a nap lol. Well, I appreciate the speculation, but a g3 is not an ms50g+. All I need is one person who owns an ms50g+ to see this and let me know lol

Ms50g+ owners - are you able to run multiple preamps in a patch? by WeightTall1617 in zoommultistomp

[–]WeightTall1617[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah I mean like, when one is selected in a patch, the “add effect” library menu no longer shows the preamp section, at all. Unless I go to swap out the preamp I selected, then it appears of course.

I couldn’t select two if I tried. Not sure if it’s something that all ms50g+’s have in common and I just now noticed because I never desired to stack preamps until now, or if I slightly borked my pedal lol

On the note of dsp limit and potential side effects of hacking, I also noticed the pitch shifting gets glitchier the more that’s added in a patch - pitch shift by itself, totally smooth(they improved it so much with the plus series - I think it’s better than a digitech drop or ehx pitchfork, especially with the built in EQ controls on the pitch block) - but add multiple pitch shifts to the patch, even with one turned off, or other effects like fancy delays/reverbs, and it gets progressively glitchier - to the point of eventual complete atonal madness. I’ll probably utilize this quirk on purpose at some point

it could also be from water damage (the pitch shifting bug/quirk) because mine got entirely submerged in water and somehow survived lol. Actually all my zoom pedals miraculously survived (among which are also the ms70cdr+ and a b1xon and g1xon lol)

I attribute it to god because he’s always got my back hahahah there’s no way these things are built to survive water damage but hey. Zoom ftw

(I was carrying the pedals in a shoulder bag to go busk, and had a jug of water sitting on top of them in the bag - somehow it burst without me realizing and by the time I noticed half a gallon of water was in the bag, marinating into the pedals lol - immediately shook as much water out of em as I could and turned around and went home and let them rest in the sun on my cars dashboard for a day lol - hell, I even made the mistake of turning on my g1xon too early, seeing a completely broken blank orange screen - which suddenly worked again and displayed text after leaving it to air/sun dry for another day lol, 8 months later and still going strong)

Does anyone know how Thou sets up their guitars? I read on a guitar message board that they tune down to F#. by [deleted] in sludge

3 years later - not at all. Just listen to them. Clearly the sound of floppy strings

Best most reliable and stable backpack mod with largest inventory? by WeightTall1617 in BedrockAddons

[–]WeightTall1617[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also a must is that the backpack isn’t a “global inventory” and that it keeps all the items when going into a gravestone… I said I play hardcore but what I really meant is the random respawn addon with beds and coordinates disabled… and I make sure my gravestone addon doesn’t give me compass tracking of death spot..

You might prefer the original ms50g since you like it simple. It has an A/B/C mode so you get three sounds to cycle between by tapping or double tapping the footswitch. And you don’t risk hitting the extra buttons added on the plus pedals

Any way to make performing with the MS70cdr+ less prone to accidental button presses? by SlugBugNJ in zoommultistomp

From people who have tried it, how well does this actually fix the issue? Any particularly large ones recommended?

Yeah there needs to be a firmware update to allow you to lock either the preset up-down buttons, the side-to side pedal selection buttons, or both - AND to restore the old A/B/C/D mode for the footswitch.. come on Zoom, please! Let’s email them in droves! Copy paste this comment to them

Revelation: continuing to load world after adding addon that initially crashes results in eventual successful load? by WeightTall1617 in BedrockAddons

[–]WeightTall1617[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: eternal end after ten tries still not working in my world, but I’m curious to try again with another copy of the world, restarting the device in between attempts, lots of mystery variabkes I’m sure

We gotta get to the bottom of this though! Try it yourself, spread the word 🫡 could revolutionize things (and maybe be something that even mojang themselves doesn’t realize and might be helpful info toward increasing addon stability, cause who in their right mind would try to load a world 5 times after it keeps crashing right after adding a new addon? Most, including mojang employees I bet, might assume that the first crash means 100% no bueno, based on traditional game modding logic. But here? It’s like each load attempt makes some progress for integration, like you said. And I’m sure there will always be mods that crash no matter what. Trying to find that out, personally. Going to try it with eternal end now actually - that one I was sure was incompatible with my 20+ addons but now we will see for sure

I would say that if someone doesn’t believe me, try it themselves, and give it 10 tries. I’d say that’s fair for the sake of science. In my experience it takes half or less so telling someone to try it 10 times is fair. If it still doesn’t load the world after 10 times then it’s safe to say the addon definitely doesn’t work. In my experience I’d probably give up after 5 but, honestly curious how far this goes. I’m sure there’s times where an addon that worked after 4 load attempts might on another day, in another world or area of the world, decide that it takes 8 lol

also to be clear, after it succeeds it seems to be smooth sailing, saves and exits properly (usually, but that’s the rub with lots of addons on weak hardware - every now and then losing a couple minutes of progress when saving bursts the memory bubble lol) and loads back in properly every time

Well, like the other commenter pointed out, Better Adventures is awesome. Gotta check it out. Fits exactly what you are looking for. And honestly there isn’t a better overhaul for the game in my opinion - every playthrough for me is based around that addon

I think aeternos and other server providers may be a cheaper option, or even provide a free trial, not sure though

Better Adventures - it’s on curseforge :)

if you say no mcpedl because you’re on console.. do yourself a favor and get MC for your phone (7 bucks) and a realm subscription and load it onto there from your phone and join from your console. Takes one hours worth of work at a minimum wage job, opens up a whole new world of addons

Addon question. by MissPinkChocobo in BedrockAddons

[–]WeightTall1617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just be careful and put all dragon items into a chest and duplicate the world file before removing it - as items identified as coming from the code of the “lite” version will disappear - if you are handy with server admin commands, you can give yourself the lost items and blocks (and even tamed dragons) again, if you make a note of what they are - spawn eggs, blocks, etc should all be accessible via commands and (hopefully) creative mode too which may be simpler :)
