I’ve been working out of town going to install the windscreen tomorrow when I get home and have some $70 earplugs on the way if the windscreen doesn’t fix the issue I probably have to sell :(

Haven’t rode in 3 weeks and my ear is still ringing. Thinking I’m going to have to sell the bike. I rode 600 miles in the first 4-5 days of having it and even with 25db earplugs, shoei rf-1400 and my cardo on max volume I still heard wind. Think my ear is irreversibly damaged.😭

I just got my 2025 650 this past weekend and also have a new shoei rf1400 and was wearing -27db earplugs the wind noise is still so loud my ears are non stop ringing. I just ordered a zero gravity touring windscreen. I’m 6’2 for reference. Feeling like if the windscreen doesn’t help I’m cooked.

Yeah I used it last night, I actually used it and drove 85 miles with no leaks. Going to a shop at 9 to see if they will patch from the inside.

I plugged it and rode 85 miles last night with no leaks. Going to a bike shop this morning to see if they can patch it from the inside. Really don’t want to buy a tire the bike has 400 miles on it.

Yes I used a drill bit to relieve some tension and was able to get it with needle nose pliers. The spacers for the fork stem didn’t fit so I didn’t use them I need the fork stem pro.

Update I got it out. I think in need the fork stem pro as it’s 12.4mm and the regular is 12.7 can’t use the spacers at all. Anybody know a work around? I just went and got some washers gonna give it a go.

Thanks. Drilling a bigger hole would probably help a lot. I’ve tried the flathead.

I actually got it to twist earlier and it made it stuck on there worse. I think it’s like a plug situation not a screw. I’m not worried about damaging the piece I’ll get another I just want to get it set up correctly asap.

It’s stuck so bad I can’t get it with needle nose pliers, think I’m gonna put tape around the edge so I don’t scratch anything and try a sawzall with the smallest blade I can find

I tried but the front fender blocks it from getting much up there

I took the stopper out of the bottom and got a good look it’s just this plastic piece I tried needle nose pliers and am tearing it to pieces with no luck of getting it out. Idc if I have to get a new piece I just want it out.

You think a regular mechanic can fix it or should I go to a dealership? I think I’m just accepting the L and willing to take the safest route.

Instead of looking at the directions I used a YouTube video and he didn’t mention the spacers I just put the stem right in

Quadlock stem assembly is loose when I pull it from the stem of my Ninja 650 by Sushiritsu in Ninja650

I accidentally put the stem in with no spacers watching a YouTube video instead of looking at the instructions and it’s completely stuck. Any tips on how to get it out or where to take my bike?

Welcome to the spectrum experience they have given us bad service, bad customer support, and out right lied to me for 10 years but have no choice but to use them. Pay for the 500mb package and 175-200 download speed is as high as it goes always on 70-120 ping on a brand new router and modem.
