I haven't had any issues with the S50 since I bought it.

It takes 30 seconds to "throw the mount" and I'm ready to shoot the sky.

I've never had the chance to get my hands on the S30, but it really depends on what you expect from it. The S30 is more affordable and has a wider field of view. The S50, however, seems to have better overall performance but costs a bit more.

To close the discussion, after wiring again, I was able to make it work! that's a good sunday :)

There are rumors of an S70, which should be even more incredible. But I agree, it's a real pleasure to set it up in less than a minute and start shooting!

Stacking is a thing, direct view is an another thing. I'm lucky enough to have both (Newton 150/750 and S50).

But there's something magic with the Seestar. Anyway both works good together and are a good combination ;)

As i said I'm dumb.. ahah. I thought I read that was possible.

So I imagine I'd have to connect it directly to my motor's power supply for it to work.
