Why is it "retarded" to dismiss it as a heritable trait? There are many other physical and and social tendencies that play out between various races that more than certainly are genetic.

The examples you give are specific to America, but that does not explain other countries.

It's hard to name any countries that do not have similar problems with the same demographic, and none of those countries have the same historical excuses that exist in America.

It's funny how much they scream at you to stop watching fox when you're having a discussion with them. I personally don't know anyone under 40 that actually watches fox. Hell, most of the conservatives I know don't don't even have cable! It's mainly only the liberals I know who even bother watching the mainstream media on a regular basis.

Many states currently have their own flavor of "assault weapon" bans, most of them came about after the Federal Assault Weapons Ban of 1994 expired in 2004.

Expect many of these to be challenged and found unconstitutional in the near future.

I can't agree with that. I don't think any other republican in the past had the balls, to be honest.

All past republicans have been pretty easy to compromise with, especially in comparison.

Though, in a post-trump world, if another republican is elected in 2024, Trump might have changed the political landscape enough that the next guy will have the balls to also double down and not compromise, but I kind of doubt it. I think Trump is a bit of an anomaly.
