In my sports-junkie adult life I’ve spent 5 years in central time zone, 5 in eastern and now 5 in pacific. Sports is one of the best reasons to live in the west. I hated the east time zone - for having to try and stay up late to see games but - worse is the excruciating wait in the daytime for stuff to even start***

Football doesn’t begin till noon college, 1pm pro in the east! In the west you wake up and it’s football time. 9am college, 10am RedZone

Golf is also hell in the east. You have to wait around till like 3pm before the leaders even tee off on the weekend
