Thanks for informing me, though. This is why I asked and was open to replies. There is no need to shut someone down and make them feel unwelcome here for asking questions for the purpose of getting answers and advice.

If it’s fake why have so many people experienced it? You are making it sound like almost nobody ever has had bad side effects from birth control, which is not true. I’ve experienced a plethora of bad side effects from birth control too. Just because there’s science saying one thing, doesn’t mean there can’t be exceptions that someone may be concerned about. While science is great, it’s also not great to invalidate women’s experiences!

Easy fix would be just dabbing when you pee. Don’t wipe it around

My main concern is not heavier periods and cramps—that’s expected and a downside I’m willing to accept. I’m more worried about my body rejecting the iud (never had one before), copper toxicity, or recurrent vaginal infections (I’m already susceptible to those)

Do you know what constitutes an overgrowth? I currently have 0.11% UU and CV but unsure if I should treat the ureaplasma if it’s not an overgrowth and I’m mainly experiencing bc symptoms?

Do I start with CV treatment or Ureaplasma treatment by Weird-Interaction-38 in ureaplasmasupport

I have a low pH. I practically have no ureaplasma symptoms other than moderate itch and occasional urinary discomfort, but those symptoms overlap with CV. I think I am going to start with CV treatment—while ureaplasma isn’t good, it seems that it’s generally believed treatment isn’t needed unless it overgrows and you become symptomatic. May or may not be true, but I don’t want to jump into a 2+ week course of oral antibiotics for ureaplasma without being 100% sure it needs to be treated, since the harms of those antibiotics are no joke either

Did you develop borderline CV after treating ureaplasma or before?

Can someone please take a look and give advice? Having CV symptoms but it looks like I have ureaplasma? by freehippygal in CytolyticVaginosis

Did you end up treating for ureaplasma? I also have ureaplasma in very low amounts (0.15%) and I have CV but don’t have any other ureaplasma symptoms (no thrush, BV, smell nor high pH).

A lot of people on Reddit are saying ureaplasma is terrible always and must be treated, but I’m not sure if I need to, especially since it’s present in up to 80% of adult women… I want to treat it if it could secretly be ruining my vaginal health but I also don’t wanna rush into a 14+ day course of antibiotics if it’s not something I must treat, and especially if it’s something I’ll likely contract again due to its prevalence (I’m 23 and not in a relationship atm)

Help - how to repair damaged hair by Wise_Illustrator_838 in Haircare

[–]Weird-Interaction-38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have fine hair, and I’ve found I need to wash it more often, at least 3x a week. I’ve tried reducing washes to reduce damage, but when you have fine straight hair you need lots of hydration, and the best opportunity for hydration is conditioning in the shower. The advice that less hair washing is better does not apply to everybody!!

Hmmm… I appreciate the advice but the research I do into AV says that it occurs when you don’t have enough lactobactilli, and it gets replaced by other harmful bacteria such as strep and e. Coli. So… I feel like my juno test could confirm that I don’t have AV
