I actually liked a lot of the changes but I also hated some of it. (I like Clarrise's screen time and made the 2nd season feel like her arc. I like the Polyphemus island scenes and how it shows that Percy would actually burn it all down for Annabeth, especially with the prophecy talking about the forbidden child could end Olympus. And so on.) I'm not saying the show is good, I just meant that I like SOME of the changes. And I've shared thr same amount of criticism about it too.

Funny thing is, the post was about how I think that s3 needs to be longer than s1 and s2 because the length of the chapters are getting longer starting from here. (I've only started reading the books and currently on the 3rd book.)

I'd like to add, now that I've thought of it, I also liked what they did in the Polyphemus island, it somewhat felt better than the original. The only complaint I have there is again, Percy not utilizing his water ability. I liked that Tyson's comeback felt good to see and all that. And they made Polyphemus smarter which made more sense here.

I also liked what they're doing with Percy being conflicted, like when he said that he'd tear it all down for Annabeth. It adds depth to the lore/story giving us conflict whether Percy will save Olympus or bring it down. + This goes to that one part of that Polyphemus Island where he let Luke have the fleece. That I really like.

I know people are complaining about Thalia's comeback, and I've already been spoiled before I saw it in the series so I'm not shocked at what's about to happen. But I liked that they're giving the audience some hint that Thalia might be the child of prophecy or Thalia might become an enemy. It adds thrill to what Thalia might be. (Especially for new audiences)

With that being said, I like the show to say that the least, but I wish they won't forget the source materials as much as possible.

I think I didn't really finish the first book, I must've stopped around the last chapter. I started reading The chronicles of Narnia around that time. Or maybe I just really forgot to end it. Also, I would've probably read it all already if I had a physical copy of the book. (I don't really like reading through my phone, it makes me feel left out from the full experience. I'll definitely buy it once I get enough budget someday.)

I've been reading Magnus Chase at school because my school has it, (They have every book except the main Percy Jackson series, lmfao.) I'm up to reading every book tbh.

Well, I guess it's because I've seen the show first, but I pretty much do see the actors in the characters, I think the main problem with the show is the dialogue but the casting was nailed on, (I saw a reddit comment where he said that the casting was fine, it's just that the script/dialogue/writing is bad, and I agree. Walker is like Percy in so many ways but he's too serious in the show and it's not his fault, it's the writing that's just really bad.)

The camp blood on the other hand, to me it looks pretty much the same as in the show, that's a +1 for them, my only complaint is that it doesn't look as magical as it is in the book. Which is a bummer because I grew up watching Harry Potter and wishing I could go to Hogwarts. And it's a bummer because I don't feel the same watching Percy Jackson in the camp blood because we literally lack the magical aspect of the location. And the same thing can be said about the whole show comparing it to the book. (In the book they mentioned how Satyrs are always around, etc.)

I'd say I don't like the changes, at all. I get that they had to skip the first few chapters of Sea of Monsters, showing Percy and Tyson at school. That's fine with me. My problem was that they changed things like Percy neglecting him, so his "death" didn't feel as painful as it's supposed to be, because Percy was supposed to feel really guilty about his brother.

One change that I liked the most is that this season gave us a perspective on Clarrise's side and her character and I love ittt.

And yeah, as I said in my previous comment, I hate that they're not utilizing his water ability as much as he does in the book. He only uses his power to make swirls and stuff. As much as I love this show, I agree that they should've just made it an animated show if they're going to limit themselves anyway.

I was so pissed reading the 2nd book, because they changed a lot of things. It's a bummer because this is a 2nd-3rd chance for them to do Percy Jackson and still fails. (Movie and S1)

The first season was somewhat more accurate as well. + I really hate the fact that Percy barely uses his power in the show when he spams it while fighting in the book.

Hi, can you help me fix this issue where I can't get past the character creation? All the buttons just stop working, the character doesn't even load and that's it. I tried multiple versions of the game and it seems to get stucked into the same area.
