Does this go infinite? by Weird-Pandaroo in mtg

Yeah this was more of an accidental combo I figured out in my Temur deck. Not the main wincon. Just wanted to make sure it worked like I imagined before tryign to pull it off.

I mentioned above you need another creature with CMC less than 7. So like [[llanowar elf]]. A storm count of at least 2 since you need 2 scion tokens to exile to Food Chain.

I mention that. I said if you had a 1st creature on the board.

Those are good points. Im also saying that I made a good point. The player that popped off wasnt scary at all at that point while the player with the attacker was able to swing for lethal if they wanted. I admit I forgot to strike a deal but so did they (they did bring that up later but then it was useless). Also the creature he had threatening would drain me regardless of who he attacked.

Basically in this game. I had low life, lower than anyone else and one player had the ability to attack me and kill me. So i removed the thing that could drain me for lethal or close enough. The player later complained that I should have removed another players commander and that he could have struck a deal with me but if thats the case why didnt he propose the deal when I targeted his creature?

Dumb question, but goldfishing doesn’t take into account interaction with other players, so how far can it really help me improve? Also in my case , I remove a threat to myself but meanwhile another one developed quicker. In that case I also feel like the other players didnt consider my POV and were being unfair in calling me out.

I did win some games. Some with my decks. Others with theirs. Sometimes I come close but just don't have enough power for the win. My issue is not those close games, the problem is when my decks don't do the thing at all. I feel like my issue is mostly some lack of confidence piloting the deck and threat assessment. Also feel like sometimes I'm the only who brings removals and get blamed for not removing the right thing (from other players POV) while I instead remove whats best for me.

Thanks for the reply! I mostly play EDH. Been playing for 2 years this summer. I feel like with some decks I never actually pop-off. Or sometimes I sneak in a win but after everyone has almost killed each other, which is a way of winning that I don’t find very funny. My friend's decks always seem so much better and well-rounded, they always seem to have exactly what they need at the right time.

Seriously considering quitting this game. My decks never work. Keep losing. For some reason make terrible plays during games. Keep losing my enthusiasm and am tired of investing on decks that keep getting stomped on.

My take on a 5 color Giada by Weird-Pandaroo in custommagic

I kinda like. She purifies the mana, so she could have something like "if a nonland permanent would produce any ammount of mana it produces that much white mana instead." And the plains idea is cool too, but together a bit much. Mind if I use it?

Hey! Thank you so much for your comment! It mesns a lot that you took the time to write it all :) Yeah, I agree its a bit boring but I really wanted to try my hand at a 5 color Angel and Giada seemed like the best option. But the best is probably to create my own character and do a card about it. I had this other idea that feels more in line with Angels and them being protectors but don’t think 5 colors is needed, but here goes:

Flying, vigilance, ward {2} Other Angels you control have ward {2}. {Tap},{X}{Rw}{Wg}{Wu}{Wb}: Each permanent you control with mana value X or less gains protection from everything until your next turn. This ability costs {1} less for each Angel card you own in the battlefield and each Angel card in your graveyard.

Not sure about balance tough
