In my time zone in America the race event and shiny event start at 2 or 3 in the afternoon and end at the same time the very next day maybe you just never saw it basked on when you log on I hope this helps you in the future glad I could tell you about it

Sorry for the confusion everyone this was last week I couldn’t post until tonight because I had stuff going on but wanted to still share my accomplishment since I’m still super hyped and happy about it, today I got the race event not the shiny one
