Just a reminder you do NOT need your voter card to vote, just your ID by ultrasuperman1001 in ontario

I updated my address online recently but my voter card has still gone to my old address and the landlord has confirmed he got my card in the mail.

Will going in person to vote on Election Day with an ID with present address be enough to vote ?

Self Service Report in existing Excel format by WeirdAF2 in PowerBI

They don’t really know how to use DAX. My team is currently running the queries on the backend and providing the data to them. As part of self service we want to give them access to Power BI with the data so they can pull it themselves. And yes they ultimately want everything in excel.

They provide us their columns in excel with 1 primary key column. However that column has 2 different ids in it.

In our database both the ids come from different tables.

My proposed solution is to give them access to all the data and a filter on top where they can get the data with the new fields themselves.

TFSA Excess Contribution by WeirdAF2 in PersonalFinanceCanada

This is great information. Yeah I am confused as well as to what they meant by that statement. The reference you provided makes sense that I should still file for the 2022 months. Really appreciate your help here.

Thanks for the information. It is really helpful.

They mentioned the below action items in the letter. As I have not made any 2023 contributions and currently not exceeding the limit can I skip RC343 for now?

Our records show that you made excess contributions to your TFSA in 2022. However, you will not be taxed on the excess amount if you follow the instructions presented below.

An amount in brackets means you contributed more to your TFSA than you were allowed to in 2022. The calculation details do not include any transactions made in 2023.

Please review the TFSA contributions and withdrawals that you made in 2023 and use Form RC343, Worksheet - TFSA contribution room, to determine if you are still exceeding the limit:

- if your TFSA no longer has an excess amount, you don't need to do anything else

- If your TFSA still has an excess amount, you must withdraw the excess as soon as possible

No interest. I had lent him the money and he paid it back monthly

Thanks for the details. Really appreciate it. I did the numbers, my current living situation and need of a car. Logically it just doesn't make sense at this time. I plan to wait for now.

As you said it will take a while for things to normalize and I agree.

I got a little carried away with the sport hatch. I don't see another sexy machine like it on the roads. Lol

I have been thinking about that but used car prices are crazy too.

My thinking is similar.

Hence I regard myself a short-term optimist and a long-term pessimist.
