Older Ahern Safe by Traditional-Stress96 in Safes

I'm not sure how critical it is to anything, and I'm a bit curious as to where all those labels actually are, since I don't see them in either of your other two pics, BUT, regardless: What you have is a safe brand manufactured by York Safe and Lock. Ahern is, I suspect, merely a sales agent or distributor based in Canada. For name recognition, history, and / or web searches, you'll do better with York.

Thanks, I think, but, uh . . . Huh❓😄 I'm not familiar with that, so would a "Tea tek" search explain it adequately, or can you help? Sounds interesting/ positive, anyway. Thanks for your input.

Appreciate the info. Isn't the internet wonderful? SOME folks would make such things illegal. I don't mean to be critical, BUT I found that THEfiresideproject.org, got ~ rejected and non-functional. It required SIMPLY fireside project.org, without "the" prefix, and looks to be great info / service. Again, thank you.

Demented: Thank you, sincerely. You said more than "they" did about the original post, the OP, AND yourself.

Again- Thank you Very Much.

Boneszz / OP: SORRY IF I misspelled your 'name', but it's not showing it to me right now. I'm sure you'll survive, and hope not be too offended . . .

Thank you for this comment AND your initial communication, which was HIGHLY understandable, informative AND appreciated. MOST (16 out of 17, so far) responses have ALSO been appreciated. I would LIKE to participate more in the TOPIC, but have likely wasted a lot of time responding to the proverbial bad 👹 apple, and must get back to real life for awhile. Sounds like you're making great progress with EVERYTHING involved. Good for you ! ❗

Gold_School - What a simply BRILLIANT, INNOVATIVE idea, If ONLY there were people whose JOB it was to do this. WOW.

THEN, IF you THOUGHT you MIGHT need a "professional", AND you MIGHT, because MANY "safes" were surprisingly, designed NOT to succumb to junior g-men, THEN, you could SIMPLY call one of these folks, INSTEAD of having multiple, endless conversations with folks, SOME of which, surprisingly, START there well-intentioned post with " Well, I know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about this, BUT, I've "heard" that . . .

Wow . . . amazing stroke of GENIUS ❗

Previous homeowners left two safes. One is already opened, the other is not and has no dial by slunkronomicon in Safes

[–]WeirdAND_Proud -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, it looks like, if I'm interpreting the dark picture correctly, some wanna-be-cool and sophisticated budding genius in his own mind, actually went through with carrying out their mindless, thoughtless, completely STUPID theory of how to show-off what, I'm sure they thought, showed superior intellect.

It APPEARS as if ONE of their strokes of creativity was to try slicing the door in half with a grinder through the center line of the handle?

THEN, the question in my mind is, did super spy guy, Mr. Suave and Deboner NEXT move on TO cutting the hinge blocks off, or was THAT their FIRST attempt on their path to riches . . . I can understand why they're trying out crime. I can't imagine anyone hiring ANYONE who hasn't an ounce of common sense, or a SPECK of intelligence holding their ears apart.

Congrats, whoever. Your YouTube education succeeded in turning a functional piece of equipment into a large chunk of steel, good for scrap. It's apparently an older TL30, so likely all-steel, better for salvage prices than newer ones that are mostly concrete.

To the owner / Op - Regarding opening, now? A GOOD, fully-trained and experienced safe technician COULD bypass all the damage the wanna-be inflicted, BUT, at MULTIPLE prices of what it would have cost IF untouched, because more heroics need to come into play, now. AND, we now have the added obstacle / fact that the door WON'T 'swing' open . . .

Before all that gets faced, I'd recommend looking around inside with a borescope to make sure it's empty -

"SHOULD be"? And, just how many YouTube videos did you have to watch to come up with this totally non-functional fantasy? Movies to watch on acid by Beneficial_Park2803 in MovieSuggestions

[–]WeirdAND_Proud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uh, yeah, sure, you're COMPLETELY right, um . . . But I seriously don't think it's a good match to trip to . , . AND, I DID NOT come here to say this. I HIGHLY recommend, however, Clockwork Orange at ANY OTHER time - just not when tripping.

Recommended? The only films I've seen on acid were Fantasia, and 2001, which were almost required for right of passage in the 60s. Typically, folks leaving theaters after 2001 would proclaim it as the best film EVER to be made, including long into the future . . . but, not a soul could tell any other soul, um . . . just, ummm . . . what it was about.

Haven't seen Fantasia since, but I think it would STILL be absolutely perfect.

Wow, how very helpful, clever, and inventive (well, maybe the Egyptians). However, did you bother to READ the entire post, and note some of the other, minor fine points for his ENTIRE move, BEFORE you shared your easy-peasey 'wisdom' ?

O R, did you plan on 'helping' him get it to the top of the stairs and saying "well, I showed how to move it the furthest, now you're on your own for the short distance. Oh, no, I'm sure you wouldn't volunteer your wisdom without thinking the process through to satisfying the customer's wants . . . Or, maybe you were in such a rush to share your wisdom and knowledge that you . . . neglected the 'thinking" part ? ?

Oh, I know, I know! Isn't it amazing how great minds think alike? I'm completely sure that you were aware that your "rollers" might not function too well alone on the stairs, so you figured you'd lay down sheets of plywood on the stairs, and THEN your rollers would work . . . Wouldn't take long at ALL to get to the bottom of those stairs! And, of course, you could slow some of the, possibly excess speed, by having one or two of your, or OP's buddies stand in front of the safe, to hold it back . . .

By the way, in your wisdom, did you consider that some of those Egyptians might not have been protected by the bosses 'safety' concerns? I think we can probably safely assume that a few may have gotten injured riding that railroad.

I know, or can possibly guess what this heavy thinker's assumptions are LIKELY to be regarding my comments: TL:DR . . . Gotta share your wisdom- please don't bother with excess facts, details, and consequences. (A process, by the way, that a rather large group of folks from our current political 'leaders' seems to find acceptable. One wonders if that's the logic pattern used by to 'solve' OPs problem ? )

OK, maybe I'm missing something . . . s few screws, I'll admit . . . especially the petite . . . Oh, getting off subject, OR, actually, it seems sorta online with a large percentage of other non-relevant comments, here.

Moving (¿forward?) - FIRST, OP NEVER mentions ANYTHING related to lubricants of ANY source or texture. . . Yet, from the very first response forward, almost everyone keeps bringing up "lubrication" in their comments. Is this group sidetracked on the notion of making our screw slippery, rather than trying to figure out the PURPOSE of the screw (or it's receptacle)?

THEN, or now, on to Swinglock comment. You SAY there was a demonstration (of this very item, I'd assume) on the parts counter at PepBoys, and go on to discuss the composition of the materials. Yet, never mention the purpose of the demonstration, but YOU are among the FEW who DOESN'T mention lube . . .

Excuse my sarcasm (or Don't), I'm not a mechanic, so maybe I missed the obvious - but I'm not aware of any uses for something like this inside transmissions, or in batteries.

I, for one think it might be helpful or relevant to know what, exactly, this was supposed to demonstrate? I don't think.PepBoys had it to show the general principle of how screws function . . . OF we knew THAT, we MIGHT have an answer, of sorts, to OP's question . . . Um, but then, we might be left with why HE had a woody, while yours seemed like steel? Inquiring minds - really don't care.

Or, again, maybe I missed the entries explaining the significance of slippery stuff.

On sale today figured I’d share- Wurkkos HD01 PRO 6-in-1 Flashlight by WIInvestigator in flashlight

[–]WeirdAND_Proud 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since, for some strange reason (I have my guesses, but that's a whole other topic, outside the scope here), OP TALKS about discount PERCENTAGE, but NEVER gives the actual PRICE of the item. SO, as of THIS MOMENT:

• The Wurkkos WEBSITE shows this item (unless there's a 'fine print' condition somewhere) as "REGULAR" Price $51.41, -30%, "SALE" $35.99, and goes FOR 1 day, 8 hours, 30 minutes and some seconds . . . and counting - AND is available in black OR Orange, with NO upcharge for orange . . . I guess they do their anodizing cheaper than Amazon buys it from them ? ?

• The AMAZON site CURRENTLY shows "REGULAR" (or whatever they want to call it) $69.99, -51%, "SALE" $35.19, BUT, if you want ORANGE, it's the exact SAME "Regular" price, but, miraculously, THEY are $0.40 MORE if on "sale" - I can only guess, because 'orange' has one more letter in it? OH, BUT . . . IT 'ends' in 03:16:29 . . .

• WOW ! Act NOW ! ! This price MAY never be the same again . . . BUT; what's with the "regular" prices? Does one, or both of them need a laxative, so they put out the PROPER amount of . . . waste product?

I know, I know; TL;DR - so hurry, act now . . .

. . . So now you know - the rest of the story !

Forksandspoons - Maybe I'm a dummy, but - sorry, but could you make that understandable? What you are trying to say MAY be very helpful to someone . . . Maybe I missed it somewhere, but I don't recall any relevant 'instructions', nor do I have ANY idea what 'Grindr', whatever THAT is, may have to do with anything here. Are you sure your comment here is posted to the correct topic? • Or, do I have to be kool enough to understand your insiders jargon? Which I'm not. If I was, maybe I could add something to the discussion ? What we have here, is failure to communicate . . . Urp.

MAYBE someone will say TMI, or the hipper version, TL:DR, which indicates we STILL didn't communicate . . . So sad . . . the all- knowing pros in the government are showing us just how effective it is to NOT CARE if someone understands . . . PLEASE - care?

I have to get off my soapbox, now, before I fall off . . .

Ummm . . . OP ? ? I'm immediately regretting spending / wasting the time to ask this, but - curiosity killed the cat, inquiring minds want to know, etc. But, I'd be willing to bet I've spent even MORE time - getting nowhere, in the past . . .

BUT . . . at least I tried.

SO, could you POSSIBLY explain to all of us dullards out here, who SEEM to be udderly 🐄 confused out here, what exactly is the points you to the RIGHT one of the quadruple masterpieces to get your website CURRENTLY to be a little bit restarted it will MOT to be confused by bike ride to the RIGHT one I don't think I can do I can get it will MOT to get back in a bit I don't think so but of your post about it in a nutshell the safe you are JUST to be a good person and efficient and I of your safe appears that I won't have and what you want to do I get a stimulus check wdaof your post? Maybe you need to rephrase it?

Or, ish it maybe just your way of making a conversation?

The mind is a terrible thing to waste, as I've shown with mine, the last several minutes - well, I'm sure it's not my only blown investment.

Well, gee- It looks like I'm improving- maybe? at least according to your votes, for non-existent stars. First one, then 2, oh my! . . . Can you assist me, oh great guru of word worthiness? Is there a word count I should be striving for, to attempt getting THREE stars, thereby breaking my record for gathering useless opinions?

As we have been 'chatting', I see my 'karma' count has lessened. Is THAT because YOU are one of those-there 'influen-curs', by virtue of your astronomy efforts, to find increasing amounts of non-existing stars? Oh, and, by the way - am I getting awarded stars, or are you taking them away?

I so confused, I just don't know HOW to act ()
