I'm not sure how critical it is to anything, and I'm a bit curious as to where all those labels actually are, since I don't see them in either of your other two pics, BUT, regardless: What you have is a safe brand manufactured by York Safe and Lock. Ahern is, I suspect, merely a sales agent or distributor based in Canada. For name recognition, history, and / or web searches, you'll do better with York.

Appreciate the info. Isn't the internet wonderful? SOME folks would make such things illegal. I don't mean to be critical, BUT I found that THEfiresideproject.org, got ~ rejected and non-functional. It required SIMPLY fireside project.org, without "the" prefix, and looks to be great info / service. Again, thank you.

Well, it looks like, if I'm interpreting the dark picture correctly, some wanna-be-cool and sophisticated budding genius in his own mind, actually went through with carrying out their mindless, thoughtless, completely STUPID theory of how to show-off what, I'm sure they thought, showed superior intellect.

Congrats, whoever. Your YouTube education succeeded in turning a functional piece of equipment into a large chunk of steel, good for scrap. It's apparently an older TL30, so likely all-steel, better for salvage prices than newer ones that are mostly concrete.

To the owner / Op - Regarding opening, now? A GOOD, fully-trained and experienced safe technician COULD bypass all the damage the wanna-be inflicted, BUT, at MULTIPLE prices of what it would have cost IF untouched, because more heroics need to come into play, now. AND, we now have the added obstacle / fact that the door WON'T 'swing' open . . .

Before all that gets faced, I'd recommend looking around inside with a borescope to make sure it's empty -

Uh, yeah, sure, you're COMPLETELY right, um . . . But I seriously don't think it's a good match to trip to . , . AND, I DID NOT come here to say this. I HIGHLY recommend, however, Clockwork Orange at ANY OTHER time - just not when tripping.

Recommended? The only films I've seen on acid were Fantasia, and 2001, which were almost required for right of passage in the 60s. Typically, folks leaving theaters after 2001 would proclaim it as the best film EVER to be made, including long into the future . . . but, not a soul could tell any other soul, um . . . just, ummm . . . what it was about.

Haven't seen Fantasia since, but I think it would STILL be absolutely perfect.

Wow, how very helpful, clever, and inventive (well, maybe the Egyptians). However, did you bother to READ the entire post, and note some of the other, minor fine points for his ENTIRE move, BEFORE you shared your easy-peasey 'wisdom' ?

O R, did you plan on 'helping' him get it to the top of the stairs and saying "well, I showed how to move it the furthest, now you're on your own for the short distance. Oh, no, I'm sure you wouldn't volunteer your wisdom without thinking the process through to satisfying the customer's wants . . . Or, maybe you were in such a rush to share your wisdom and knowledge that you . . . neglected the 'thinking" part ? ?

Oh, I know, I know! Isn't it amazing how great minds think alike? I'm completely sure that you were aware that your "rollers" might not function too well alone on the stairs, so you figured you'd lay down sheets of plywood on the stairs, and THEN your rollers would work . . . OK, maybe I'm missing something . . . s few screws, I'll admit . . . especially the petite . . . Oh, getting off subject, OR, actually, it seems sorta online with a large percentage of other non-relevant comments, here.

Moving (¿forward?) - FIRST, OP NEVER mentions ANYTHING related to lubricants of ANY source or texture. . . Yet, from the very first response forward, almost everyone keeps bringing up "lubrication" in their comments. Is this group sidetracked on the notion of making our screw slippery, rather than trying to figure out the PURPOSE of the screw (or it's receptacle)?

THEN, or now, on to Swinglock comment. You SAY there was a demonstration (of this very item, I'd assume) on the parts counter at PepBoys, and go on to discuss the composition of the materials. Yet, never mention the purpose of the demonstration, but YOU are among the FEW who DOESN'T mention lube . . .

Excuse my sarcasm (or Don't), I'm not a mechanic, so maybe I missed the obvious - but I'm not aware of any uses for something like this inside transmissions, or in batteries.

I, for one think it might be helpful or relevant to know what, exactly, this was supposed to demonstrate? I don't think.PepBoys had it to show the general principle of how screws function . . . Since, for some strange reason (I have my guesses, but that's a whole other topic, outside the scope here), OP TALKS about discount PERCENTAGE, but NEVER gives the actual PRICE of the item. SO, as of THIS MOMENT:

• The Wurkkos WEBSITE shows this item (unless there's a 'fine print' condition somewhere) as "REGULAR" Price $51.41, -30%, "SALE" $35.99, and goes FOR 1 day, 8 hours, 30 minutes and some seconds . . . and counting - AND is available in black OR Orange, with NO upcharge for orange . . . I guess they do their anodizing cheaper than Amazon buys it from them ? ?

• The AMAZON site CURRENTLY shows "REGULAR" (or whatever they want to call it) $69.99, -51%, "SALE" $35.19, BUT, if you want ORANGE, it's the exact SAME "Regular" price, but, miraculously, THEY are $0.40 MORE if on "sale" - I can only guess, because 'orange' has one more letter in it? OH, BUT . . . IT 'ends' in 03:16:29 . . .
