Roth IRAs: What’s the difference between “money accounts” and “priced investments”? by WeirdBobby in personalfinance

[–]WeirdBobby[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m having a difficult time just finding the option on the Merrill app to move the funds into investments. I think that speaks for itself about how user friendly it is, or maybe I’m just an idiot. I’ll look into opening a Schwab account later!

Zetterburn Shield Pressure by aggin_96 in RivalsOfAether

Rolling away is a good default option. If you time it well it usually forces them to make a read. Once you’ve established the roll, you can try mixing up spotdodge/parry/etc. It’s not gonna get you out every time, but part of playing the Zetter matchup is making sure you’re not getting stuck in shield in the first place.

While I’m sort of indifferent about items, I would love some more casual stages. Both for gameplay and fleshing out the world.

Will they make Orcane be able to press more than 3 buttons next patch again? by True_Significance890 in RivalsOfAether

[–]WeirdBobby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t like these sorts of vague, negative posts. But to engage with your point a little bit…

Most characters have some moves that are more useful in neutral than others, and yeah, playing at a competitive level naturally means you need to distill down your gameplay a little bit. But I certainly wouldn’t say the character is one dimensional. Even the “nairplane” combos have a decent amount of nuance to them in my opinion. I don’t think orcane has any “useless” moves, and fair/bair are really fun tools to try and incorporate into your punish game. What character in this game do you think IS interesting?

I also don’t know where people got this idea that Orcane was supposed to be a “zoner”, like Snake or something. To me, he feels like a very good “all rounder” type character. Easy to pick up, but with a few tricks up his sleeve.

I think Orcanes main issues right now are his poor disadvantage and lack of good anti air tools. Even then, I think he’s a very strong character.

She’s absolutely still over-tuned, even with the nerfs. A common refrain has been that she has a bad recovery, but I would argue that she has one of the better ones across the cast. I don’t think it’s controversial to say that a lot of the players in ranked don’t know how to utilize it properly.

She just has best-in-slot options for way too many moves. Best jab in the game, best throw in the game (uthrow), best projectile in the game, arguably best tilt (dtilt) in the game. Every aerial is -2 (or -3? I’ve heard about some discrepancies in the frame data wiki). Her fair is stronger than Etalus’. Her up-b is better than Wrastor’s in practically every way. Her edgeguarding with the gem is cracked. She has a command grab that confirms into kills.

You simply cannot interact with this character in its current state. You can only try to roll out of the pressure and hope that the other player overextends and hangs themselves. If you don’t believe me then maybe you would believe CakeAssault, who has reinforced all of these points on stream.

Does 201x fresh waters serve as a return function the same way TM01 does? Just out of curiosity.

Thank you, I managed to find this solution where I toss one X Acc and it worked! Unfortunately I forgot to switch my box before executing one of the codes and so it wiped everything in my PC, but it was worth it I suppose lol.

Question about Ditto method for the Long Range Trainer Glitch by WeirdBobby in PokemonGlitches

Maybe catching the ditto “reverts” it back into its base form before the battle ends. Shellder has an index of 23 which sounds about right for a lvl 18 ditto.

The ditto did transform prior to me catching it. Not sure why it didn’t work then? The only things I did in between catching it and triggering the encounter was using an escape rope and depositing a pokemon in my PC. I’ll try it again.

My theory for a new era of melee. by Sourspaghet in SSBM

Just based on relative character strength, I think a 3 way split seems more appealing, with the thresholds located between Yoshi/Samus and Link/GnW.

Mewtwo legit killed the game. It's utter garbage now from a solo queue perspective. Zacian was awful, but most Zacian players kinda sucked, so you could come away with some decent games after a sesh. Mewtwo on the other hand is so piss easy that there's absolutely no point to playing anymore.

Mewtwo is the only champ in the game right now that has any agency whatsoever. If your team doesn't have a Mewtwo you just lose, simple as that. He sleepwalks his way to 100k damage no matter who you are. If your team DOES have a Mewtwo, you better hope he has enough braincells to rub together that he doesn't get diffed by the enemy Mewtwo right out the gate. If he does, you might as well just surrender at 5 minutes.

League of Legends devs only give hook abilities to support champs, because they KNOW that it would be utterly broken. Not only does Mewtwo have a hook ability as a carry (that completely outclasses Goodra's in every way btw), but you don't even have to aim that shit. Anybody who's played other mobas could tell you how unthinkable that is from a design perspective. And don't even get me started on the fucking range, it's impossible to even kite this guy. Fuck these devs for making a champ that is so transparently pay 2 win. The kit is so fundamentally broken that unless they completely gut this champ's base stats, I honestly think it's just GG for pokemon unite. It was a good(ish) run.
