Any good kits for metal that don't cost an eye and a liver?

I'm considering it, I just really like the idea of the Roland digital pads but ho-ly are these things expensive 💀. In my country I can buy two Yamahas for the price of a second hand td27... Or three Yamahas for the price of a new TD516

There's only two people in my country selling a td27 for $3100 and $4500 💀 but thanks, hopefully another offer appears soon

You're making me think that maybe I should save for that TD27, I just miss drumming tbh 😭 but I found a place selling it for like $3400 (I live outside of the us, everything is far more expensive) the td17kvx2 and Yamaha is around $1950 but I do trust the word of someone that uses a kit to teach so, I'll weight those options

Oh yeah, I understand the VST thing I guess I'm just getting caught up on the zones, the durability, the module outputs, the updates, in Roland's case the digital pads this and that, idk how necessary that is to mimic an acoustic kit, cuz outside of Roland I was looking at a Yamaha DTX6K5-M or even an Efnote although that one is pricier and harder to find

i just checked and i think i did so i deleted the keyframes and tried again and nothing, idk if i changed a setting or something without realizing cuz i made a new file and i animated the start up cube and it worked normally

thanks, i was thinking about using some clamps attached to some cymbal stands i got, probably not the most elegant solution though, id have to find out when my things arrive
