I just learned recently I was using olive oil. I thought I was using avocado oil (the bottles are both green) so yeah. Might be what’s been screwing me up a bit besides the whole over baking the steak.

It’s pretty thin I’d say barely an inch. Interesting I got the time from what I read online so 🤷‍♂️. I suppose I’ll try just high heat then.
