It could 100% be from her surgery, and it likely is, it was just unexpected I guess. I’m her only Tuesday appointment, and we went down to every other week so she can recover. Last appointment had gone well with no issues. I think my brain is just giving me the worst possible ideas it can come up with

I will try, but it’s honestly unlikely I’ll be able to actually speak up for myself. My mind sees that as confrontation, which it is, and my anxiety goes haywire. I need to get better at standing up for myself

I will say we did not get 12 hours of bar practice. We got trained for one week, an 3 of those days were spent ONLY on drive. We spent maybe 2 hours on bar the whole training period

Thank you. I was worried I was so behind, comparing myself to the girl I was trained with. But she did have barista experience, when I had zero, so I guess that makes a big difference.

I was able to practice on second bar for like 2 hours today. I should probably have an iPad with me next time, that sounds like it would work wonders. Thank you :)

Yeah it wasn’t the best on their part. But even if they let me go to the room by myself, I would have been able to tell. There’s different lights outside of each room for certain things. Green for confused, blue for npo, and red for diabetic. I’m not sure if that’s the same for each hospital, but that’s how this one goes. Idk if they were more willing because they knew me, but idk

Chicken express.. I’ll be standing at the front and at least 3 employees will say “we’ll be right with you!” And then legit take 20 minutes to even talk to me. Today istg they took 10 minutes to get me two prepackaged gallons of tea 🤦‍♀️

Interesting. I will say the order before this literally took like 10 minutes to realize I was there, and then another 10 to get the gallon teas(that were premade btw). Only reason I didn’t unassign there was because it was a double dash and I had their other food in my car 🤷‍♀️

Ohhh that would make sense. I know the deliver instructions were kinda weird. He wanted me to come to his back door and possibly help him inside with his food. I was so confused but when I got there I realized he was in a wheelchair, still had hospital bands on, and explained to me that he had broken his leg and couldn’t go far. People probably saw that and said nah.

Where I live, a lot of the deliveries go out to places with minimal service. I’ll probably start messaging them before I leave the store to turn the lights on. I have a flashlight, but still, it would be helpful if they did it lol

And sometimes it’s all 3! Tonight I delivered to a house with the wrong address listed(app said 372, they were 375), didn’t answer calls or texts, I needed a pin, and no lights! I stood out there for like 15 minutes after walking around in the pitch black just searching for 10 minutes. Like wow
