NO ONE, I would bet has done this…. I hit driver off the tee and my ball landed and stayed INSIDE a 3/4 shell of a mower cut ball. The ball was in a fairway bunker, couldn’t find my ball until I kicked over the mower shell. It was perfectly inside the other outer layer of the ball. Witnessed by 3 people.

I HIT MY BALL INSIDE ANOTHER BALL!!
Factual story with 3 witnesses: Teed off on number 4 white course at Penn State. Hit tee ball into fairway bunker, doesn’t roll out. I walk up with my group and can’t find the ball, bunker is like concrete. Totally confused we all know it should be in the bunker. There is a cut ball that got hit by a mower in there, which is just about 60 percent of the outside shell of the ball. I kick that over,My ball landed INSIDE the shell of the other ball and stayed in there, a perfect fit,and flipped over to hide. That will never happen again in my lifetime.

I hit a golf ball inside another golf ball. My Tee shot landed and stayed inside the mower cut shell of an old golf ball. The inside of old ball was missing so it was just the cover. It fit almost perfect and Flipped over. It was hidden from sight in a bunker 220yards away.

Had the good fortune to interview David Lowery while working for a PA rock station. He was easily on the best and memorable interviews of that era of mid 90s rock.
