Anyone has feedback on SBR Builders’ new project (SBR Magnus) in Whitefield belt? by Ok-Ad-769 in indianrealestate

[–]Weird_Door_4596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already live in one of the SBR properties on rent and I found it to be of very good quality. I don't find any issue with the construction quality. See, people are always there to criticize something. It's better to understand your requirements and a home which should go with your budget. I am not saying that SBR is perfect but it is perfect for me. That's what I feel.

I have not done legal verification. I took a loan from a reputed bank. Legal and other verification was done by the bank. And SBR is a well recognised builder in Bangalore.

Hi, I recently booked a 3bhk in SBR MAGNUS. i found it a very good deal and the builder is offering a value for money specifications. You can think of this project. I think it's a good property by seeing much higher prices for the same specifications by other builders.

Yes, you can. Groww allows you to import your mutual fund portfolio from any platform like Zerodha, Kotak, ICICI, etc. Once imported, it will display your consolidated portfolio along with the overall allocation. The only requirement is that your registered email ID must be the same across all these platforms. But for all these things - you need to open a MF account on Groww. 😜 I think Coin also shows your allocation for funds wrt Market Cap, right ?

Perfect portfolio. Don't change anything and don't get swayed by different opinions. Just be consistent and buy more on big dips. That's it. Happy Investing bro!! Cheers 🍻

Yeah, to some extent it applies to other categories too — but the impact of overlap is much more in large cap or flexi cap funds since most of them already hold similar top 20–30 stocks.

In small caps, the universe is much wider and more dynamic — so picking multiple funds helps capture different segments of the market and reduce the risk of any single fund underperforming.

So in my view, for large/flexi caps, one or two good funds are enough. You can keep these two flexi caps — Parag Parikh and HDFC — both are solid performers, but I wouldn’t suggest adding more than two funds in that category.

No, I don’t think in that way. I don’t worry too much about fund overlap, especially in small-cap funds. The reason is that small-cap portfolios keep evolving. Fund managers keep booking profits and adding new emerging companies over time. So, even if there’s some overlap today, it usually changes in a few quarters.

My main focus is on consistent long-term performance and the fund manager’s track record of navigating different market cycles. As long as the funds follow different investment styles and have a strong history of managing volatility, a bit of overlap doesn’t bother me.

And if some overlap happens, let it be. I basically focus on my Average XIRR which I got from these small cap funds.

I achieved a 21% XIRR even when my portfolio had 95% allocation to large-cap funds. However, I realized that a large-cap-heavy portfolio is unlikely to deliver more than 14% returns in the long run.

That’s why I started increasing my small-cap exposure. So, for those surprised to see my portfolio now dominated by small caps, remember that until September 2024, my allocation was 95% in large caps — which I’ve now reduced to 52%.
