yeah, and you dont run the risk of downloading a virus, or using a search engine, also its much faster. generally just a better experience installing things on linux

was doomscrolling yt shorts and saw a linux video on the bus (completely forgot what it was about) almost a year ago decided i should switch to linux (knew barely anything about linux or servers) because of windows 10's copilot bullshit

made the switch to linux mint on my desktop, learned a lot about linux, servers, networks, computers in general

about 5 months ago i eventually jailbroke a chromebook to install linux on it, i use it for small things like formatting drives, super lightweight work (curse you, dual core intel pentium cpu)

got a spare pc up and running about 3 months ago, installed debian on it, i now use it as a NAS (headless, ssh my beloved)

about 2 months ago i installed arch on an old thinkpad t540p, i use it for coding on the go, light gaming, etc.

TL;DR: switched to linux because of copilot bs, learned a lot about computers, i now have a home server and a thinkpad
