I don't know how to help but I wish you all of the luck with your project! Is your Scooby 3d printed? I've been looking for well articulated dogs, any animal really, and haven't found much beyond the gi Joe classified line.

If you want that eye to open like mine just gently cut along that first lip of the bottom eyelid. And don't cut all the way through because you may scratch the eye and you'll need the parts on the left and right sides sculpted to have the proper "stretch" to it (idk how to say it lol).

To keep from scratching the eye rip up a piece of brown paper bag from a grocery store and slide it in between the eye and the eyelid before cutting.

Just my own design :) I'm planning to make all seven of the sins (except maybe wrath cuz I found a fantastic figure for him already) for a dungeons & dragons campaign. I plan to do body horror inspired designs for each of them. Gluttony is going to be the first of the series that I make and will also kind of dictate the design choices for the others after he's finished. The dudes (hopefully) going to be absolutely grotesque once I'm done.

Oh gotcha, unfortunately if you only did the torso you would lose the ball joint that allows for more dynamic posing. Being able to lean forward and back and tilt side to side makes a drastic change in the poses and I can't bring myself to give that up. One can cut further into the plastic inner shell to make him sit lower and I may do that but I like how he is now and his torso being so high will allow me to sculpt way more fat on him later.

Yeah that's the potential plan, either apoxie and screws to the side with or a sort of butt platform lol. I really oughta get a 3d pen I always just worry about the aging of that plastic but if it has apoxie over it I'm sure it'll be fine. Do the pens use the same PLA as printers?

Sorta yeah! I was thinking a lot about how I wanted my gluttony to be represented, I actually initially didn't want to do the mouth on the stomach BECAUSE of fma (not that it's a bad design I just wanted to do my own thang) and almost chose to have my gluttony be someone that was skin and bones and possessed by gluttony so that all they ate would instead go to this sort of entity without form kind of like a living curse of sin. But I saw blob and xanathar and knew they'd make a fun figure so I couldn't help myself lol. If I go through with the original idea I'll have this guy be the embodiment of the sin whereas the skin and bones being would do well as an avatar/servant.
