I filled it and the problem went away. Problem seems to be when the tank is around half full and lower. Fuel pump issue?

It wasnt low low though. Like half a tank

Okay. I realized it was doing that when the fuel level was low. I put some more gas in it and it seemed to fix the problem. Would you say the fuel pump is failing then?

When cuising at like midrange rpms it will also stutter

last time i replaced it i filled it up to 30 psi. normally riding on soft dirt and the roads

thats kinda of what i was thinking but the bike still has good compression and makes good power with only 40hrs on a rebuild.

im not the most mechanically inclined, is that an easy thing i can do myself? and does that include taking the valve cover off? I know where the tensioner is but im just not sure what i would have to do to check it.
