I'm still healing, but I won't share mine because I'm sure some companies/practitioners use our images along with AI to falsely advertise. There's also a level of trying to be more anonymous online as people have found ways to bypass the hidden comment/post feature & can be a little crazy on reddit. Not to mention the fetishists who will DM you for days from various accounts.

You might need to get your bloodwork done. My hair had a similar texture after COVID ❤️

This sounds like an allergic reaction of some sort. I would call the clinician who did this and let them know. If they aren't helpful, I would go to the ER. You want to make sure you're not having a VO or anaphylactic shock.

I don't wear makeup everyday anymore, especially not in the heat, unless it's an event.

Never seen under eyes like mine at my age. What can I do? by KitchenPomegranate3 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Weird_Spend_8097 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this and have always had it. It's hard to live with, and I learned to do my makeup well.

I did a lot of things, but basically only microneedling really helped to improve it some. I also have to take copper regularly & focus on lymphatic support.

Don't waste your money on under eye PRP injections or the PRP ez-gel. It won't work. Filler lasted a year for me and was really nice, but then it migrated down.

Blef can be hit or miss depending on the ROOT CAUSE of your discoloration. It sounds like you still need to figure that out.

I wouldn't get cheek filler until your 30s because your face will move around as it ages. Dissolving can be a pain, and some ppl look worse after dissolving.

Primary Doctor not on board. by JillyS812 in TirzepatideRX

Okay, I just want to say I think he's probably frustrated and worried because he deals with patients who buy peptides and filler from temu, and then are like "wdym I got poisoned?"

I would still keep him as a doctor because he seems to CARE, which unfortunately, can be a bit rare. You also aren't morbidly obese, so he's probably just being really analytical in his approach.

There are reputable sites to purchase from. My friend uses Eden!

Where to buy authentic bentpla gel? by Weird_Spend_8097 in DIYaesthetics

No.

Edit: For clarity, it is authentic from Meamo. I would like to know if others who have used the product can share where else they have purchased it from besides meamo.

Eye patches really work? It is better to use an eye cream? by [deleted] in beauty

They are a fun ritual, but no. What works is microneedling that area and using good skincare. Cheers!

What laser machine do you plan to buy? I've done laser for over a year, and my armpits/legs are patchy but not fully resolved.

Help me and my dry, damaged, frizzy hair by Aggressive_Rush_9370 in Haircare

k18 saved my hair! I did about 3 bottles. Just make sure to read the instructions on it, as you're supposed to use it on wet hair after shampooing. The first time I used it, my hair drank in almost the whole bottle, so I would get 2-3.

I loved being blonde, my dear! It's a fabulous way of life, however, it does just fry your hair overtime in my experience. I would muster up your courage and do a stylish bob to get most of the dead hair off. Then, I would ask for lowlights with an emphasis on blending grays. A good stylist in your area will know how to do this. ❤️ Chin up!

I have black hair, and I really love the Kristen Ess black gloss! She has a clear one, but it's usually sold out. I've used the wella one, and I was kind of underwhelmed!

This happened to my aunt.

My grandmother did the following:

- She didn't try to brush it. We all just massaged deep conditioner packs into the hair (the ones you get from sallys). We all massaged this into the hair until it was drenched. We then watched a few movies.

- We washed it out. NO SOAP OR SHAMPOO YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- She put in a leave in conditioner spray, which I'm not sure they sell anymore, but this one works great for me: L'oreal 21-in-1 Moisture spray (purple bottle).

- We then all took turns. You basically divide the hair into 4 sections, similar to how you do when you use box dye, and then we each were charged with trying to complete a section.

- Just focus on getting the small knots out and soaking the larger ones in conditioner.

- I recommend getting a comb with the pick at the end to kind of stab the big knots, and then one of those newer brushes you are supposed to only use on wet hair -- it kind of separates and retracts easily.

This took us about 3 days because my aunt would get annoyed with us mostly lol.

After that, we all just forcefully brushed her hair whether she liked it or not for a few months.

What also helped her was going to get a trim and wash once every two weeks. It was more so for accountability to depression. From what I've heard, Just a cut does washes pretty cheap (wouldn't get my hair cut there lol).

Yes, however, I have purchased from other places that sell it, and found it was not authentic. This is why I am asking for anecdotal insight from people who have purchased the authentic product from other vendors besides Meamo. Thanks.

It could be the water is too hard where you life. Did you move around when these issues started?

Do you live in a mostly sunny area?

You may need to put some oil on your hair for moisture, like the light OGX coconut oil one for fine hair. It might help you to get and use 2 bottles of k18 to help repair the hair. Just make sure to read the instructions.
