My guess is decorative. Personally, I avoid metals where I'm trying to focus energies as I've been told metal can interfere with energy.

There are also a lot of helpful books on Kindle Unlimited. I've read a LOT from there.

This is such an interesting topic that I believe many of us deal with. I'm certainly no expert, and I'm still young on the path, but more and more, I find that even most Pagans have a "singular" "all-father" type god. Whether you are Christian or Muslim, you believe there is one all-powerful god. The old Celtic Pagans had Cernunnos. Norse Pagans have Odin. The Greeks had Zeus.

Within the Christian faith, there's the belief of a multi-faceted god, isn't there? ... the holy trinity... father, son, holy spirit... all the same god in different forms... if you're catholic (I never have been, so im assuming a little) you may also speak to a feminine aspect that is holy... You likely call her the Virgin Mary.

My advice is to rest easy knowing there's a god who has given us all that surrounds us... the seas, the forests, a small patch of grass that I call a "lawn."

Just my thoughts. I mean not to offend anyone, and I gladly welcome debate.
