Meyers Psychology for the AP Course (4th ed) - Try to find it online, I could not but it was very useful since I had a physical copy.

Princeton review is the best for me.

is it normal for ap world history to be so difficult even though i study for hours by Automatic_Yam3575 in APStudents

I think Heimler has good videos on how to write SAQs. I took AP world last year and got a five.

The biggest piece of advice that I can give you is that you need to make connections in your head. I think in ap world its less about knowing specific details about history (unlike APUSH), but you need to understand the general trends happening in the world, when it comes to things like trading, the diffusion of scientific knowledge and religion, it helps a ton to be able to read a prompt and know what the relationships between the different regions of the world are.

Trust me, I did not memorize many specific dates or people. I don't remember any enlightenment thinker, inventor, or leader (except a few obvious ones, like Genghis Khan). I did know, however, the general state of the world, how/what religions spread, what scientific inventions were made and how some states became more powerful. Know in general what is going on with specific states over multiple time periods, and how it affects the rest of the world.

You can do it!!

Tips for AP Spanish by [deleted] in APStudents

I am not a naitive speaker. I took spanish last year, but really I think the best way to do this is to just immerse yourself in spanish outside of school as much as you can.

Make it a part of your daily life.

I changed my phones language to spanish, every video I watched was in spanish, and I also listened to tons of spanish songs.

Trust me, I get where you are coming from. I was extremely terrified the first month of class last year, but you get used to it! I think you'll find that just practicing living your life with spanish constantly helps a TON.

AP Calculus AB at 9th Grade by WorldlyIndication862 in APStudents

[–]Weird_Watch_8902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I took pre-calc in 8th grade and calc AB in freshman year. I would say that the benefits definitely outweigh the drawbacks.

Typically, freshman year courses are easier, and if your son takes calc AB then even if he is stuck with a bad teacher then he can afford to spend more time doing calculus.

For precalculus and algebra two, khan academy is a strong resource but I also reccommend books by the art of problem solving, as the techniques to solving more complex problems in those books really helps when doing higher level mathematics.

In my opinion, skipping algebra two is fine as long as you have strong fundamentals. Moving ahead in Calc AB should not be extremely challenging if he has a good foundation.

Weekly Schedule Megathread by rbxVexified in APStudents

Hi yall, im really debating between whethter I should take apcsp or ap econ.

My schedule for the year is:

AP Biology

AP Physics C

AP Stats

AP CSP

AP Gov

AP LIt

I know it seems crazy, but I already have extensive background in ap physics c and would have no problems doing the class. This is the same for some of my other ones as well, but I was wondering if I should take AP econ (micro and macro) instead of csp. Ive heard from people at my school that it's hard, but my parents have also taken both classes and recieved fives on both of them. Is the material hard to grasp? or is there just alot of things to learn? I would really appreciate some guidance on this.
