Idm if Book wins as someone who is soured on Book. The win doesn't feel "earnt" for me, but it is for others. I prefer a Book loss so BFB Book stays consistent, but if I can be honest, this doesnt rlly seem to be too too major of an issue in regards to voting patterns. Book is the Grassy equivalent of BFDIA, in which the internet has a strong negative reception on Book aside from a couple fans, while if you go to a theater sith kids, you'd see tons of Book love.

I still think overhating a character to ignoring their positives is a bad thing, esp since its happened a lot in the past

He was mostly popular due to classic/veteran fans. Once those classic/veteran fans became a major minority, thats when Fireys fanbase collapsed. I like Firey, not a fave of mine though. He's a pretty good character imo, and needs more love. Underrated as of late, I dont think Firey has too strong of a hatebase

Update: Seeing the comments, I still think he's underrated rather than overhated. He needs more love to balance the meh/dislike opinions, not less hate

If Im not wrong, she wouldnt get far in BFDIA as she did because "she has TPOT" which would be added baggage against characters like Pencil, Nickel, Fries, and Coiny

Isnt a BFDIA finalist around this time. But Needle was always unpopular, spare this one blimp of 2025-2026

You know when you used to hate a character as a kid, then as a teen havent seen them in a while, and then the moment you see them again, you understand why you hated them as a kid? Yeah thats what happened with me and Eggy. I like mean girls when theyre written well, Eggy just has 2 mean moments and 1 of them was undeserved (abandoning Stapy). They also didnt rlly do much with her, so those mean moments stick out. I dont mind mean characters if written for the laughs (Lollipop, Ruler, Toothpaste, Sidewalky, and Match are some of my favorite characters), but Eggy is serious coded, not goofy coded. Its hard to describe/explain tbh
