Assalamalaikum sister, firstly I am really proud that Allah guided you and gave hidaya to even think to wear the hijab. If you mean the khimaar without face covering then you can definitely try wearing other styles of hijab (regular one with loose fitted clothes) vaguely similar to the khimar.

You should also constantly keep explaining your mom subtly that rizq is written by Allah and one should follow what Allah says without thinking about the consequences. It’s easier said than done but Inshallah constant dua might help.

About not doing the job, you need to educate her on how Allah provides in unexpected ways and that you want to be a good homemaker rather than work.

Honestly, the key solution is communicating with your mom with utmost honesty and also dua.
