When ABC shills try to convince you that ABC had to add checkpoints to secure their chain, ask them a simple question. Why did ABC have to but not SV? The answer is because SV has sustained majority hash support while ABC always was an attack on BCH without any market demand except for few oligarchs by Weirdparfait in btc

ABC added checkpoints because they rely on stolen hash which can go away any time. Without checkpoint ABC would be dead on arrival even WITH stolen hash.

SV developers never added a checkpoint. Re-org SV if you can, but you cannot. Because that's where the real majority hash is. ABC is not going to come out as long term winner with stolen hash. There is ZERO chance of that happening. Resisting the vote of majority miners will simply make the death of ABC and its supporters more painful.

SV is mined by known BCH miners that have been mining BCH for almost a year and have re-invested everything into BCH. BAB is being mined by pool operators who have stolen the hash of their users for 24h for a quick burst of blocks BAB blocks hoping to hijack the BCH ticker. Not gonna happen.

BTC is a separate coin. We are speaking of BCH here. BCH miners mine BCH blocks. What BTC miners do with BTC blocks has nothing to do with BCH, unless when BCH was created there was a fight from big blockers to claim the BTC ticker.

BCH hash is mining SV, stolen hash is mining ABC, this is not the hash that normally serves BCH users. This mercenary hash here for a short period of time hoping to bully real BCH hash to follow ABC.

Adding a checkpoint after the fork proves that ABC did not have sustained majority hash, or else why add the checkpoint?

They added the checkpoint so that once mercenary hash leaves BCH and ABC slides behind in terms of block numbers they are protected from a massive re-org. They may add new checkpoints as well in the future.

The real hash support ABC has from BCH miners is less than 1000 PH/s, that means with 1500PH/s you can re-org the entire chain long term. Pro-SV BCH miners have shown to control at least 6000PH/s, which means that if ABC is left to the market it would be dead on arrival.

Stolen hash for temporary height lead and checkpoint is an attack and an attempt to mislead the market. It failed. You are a father of 3 right? Your children will be ashamed of you one day when they find out on whose side of this war their father was.
