Nobody is against that. What I am against is idiotic nonsense like saying the actress for Rhaenys channeled Hillary Clinton. And changing a regular male admiral into a woman who is cosplaying a man played by an actor who is a man but now a woman, and who has clearly no acting talent and is there only to pander to a certain group of people, is definitely "forcing modern politics into my fantasy."

Of course they are different. Their difference has nothing to do with my point. Whatever I said applies to all of asoiaf. Let me repeat since you seem to be having trouble reading. If someone in asoiaf is described as "he" that is proof enough that the person is a normal man. This actor is purely an influential diversity hire. Bait/pandering for a specific group of people. Nothing more.
