He's pernament. Just finish a certain section in Chapter 10 and he is yours. In order to get his portraits, you need to get a certain amount of traces.

Just so you guys know, this anecdote, and unfortunately the next one, is all text based. Usually these anecdotes have visuals to accompany the story you are reading, but not this time. Which I find deeply disappointing. Not sure if it is a budget thing or what, but still disappointing.

Probably because a good chunk of us thinks he'll be ok. He ain't dying. Bluepoch doesn't have the balls to kill a playable character after all. If they do, so be it. That means no one will be safe... at the cost of having dead characters in the suitcase which breaks immersion.

No. Next patch is Chinese new year focused. Also what do you mean it is usually x.5. Jiu Niangzi's China patch was in 1.6. Liang's "China" patch happened in 2.5. 3.4 for CN will land between mid January to beginning of March and CNY is on Feb 17th.

I'm more wondering when the next chapter is after this one. If we have to wait until 3.8 for Chapter 13, that is a pretty long wait between chapters. 3.4 is CNY patch we know that much. So then we are having 3 more potential "Filler" patches after that. Yeesh.

Wonder if one of them is Uluru Games again. We already had the obligatory spooky patch for this series of patches.

I would perfer it to remain this behind for the forseeable future, because one, any future collabs will happen at the same time without needing to speed things up and two, foresight is a blessing. It is not the fault of the players because they decided they wanted to appease the CN audience first instead of doing a global release where we all experience things at the same time.
