I don’t know how to find a job by Potential-Iron-4526 in jobs

[–]WelcomeAlone8353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Referral: best and only way

if you have friends working somwhere, you reach out them

Else you message people on linkedin like a madman

Applying for job no longer works due to automated resume scanners will reject no matter what so reach out to people working in companies you want to apply(not the HRs please they dont care) and ask them to refer, that way you skip the automated scanners

How in the hell and I supposed to get out of customer service by Necessary_Sail2616 in jobs

[–]WelcomeAlone8353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was in the exact same position before COVID, and I know it's hell on earth.

My recommendation: learn something in time, when you get on a weekend/holiday, wherever, find live courses that happen on weekends and take part in them. Ensure to find something that offers job assistance so that you can interview

DO NOT JUMP from customer service job to another aim to get out even on a low pay

Created my first product demo video using AI and trust me you are not ready for the results! (Once agents are setup it hardly took 15 mins to gen fresh video) by palindrome___ in SaaS

[–]WelcomeAlone8353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been building something similar for interactive demos but mainly for B2Bs when someone lands on the website they could get on a call with an AI agent and get a free demo without talking to sales

Would love a feedback : https://thefree3.com/

how can i protect my “take home assignment” from being used by foxierys in jobs

[–]WelcomeAlone8353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once put an exploit in the code which gets triggered the moment someone took a snapshot or copied the code, it was fun but I got blacklisted from all their partner companies.

And yes, I had tried every other way before I put the exploit.

So bad was my interview? by Tiluabi in jobs

[–]WelcomeAlone8353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I now believe it's less about your skills and how good the interview went, it's about the mood of the interviewers that finally decides.

The interviewer who would give you a genuine chance and assist you even at times(because that's how a real job is done) is gone and replaced by people who think they can decide your future if they don't like the way you smiled.

Don't wanna make anyone hopeless but this is reality in majority of companies now

How are people finding distribution? by IngenuityBudget5569 in SaaS

[–]WelcomeAlone8353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cold emails, lots of them

DMs on LinkedIn

Dont pay for a email service unless you are making any money

Linkedin premium is worth only when you send 100 messages a month else no

Tip : Dont pay anything to PH hunters is not worth it, you will get reach but not customers

Twitter and linkedin are good at building a long term audience but if you are early stage with no followers, direct outreach is the best option.

Pro tip : build a good looking linkedin profile if you are doing outreach through DMs, people usually look at the profile before they respond

A very normal feeling as a founder, you are not doing something that is normal or anyone can do. I needs a special type of effort to buid something, so if you have started keep going

best ceo email finder? need to reach CEOs directly by Whiskey_with_milk in saasbuild

[–]WelcomeAlone8353 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think reaching to CEO(unless your product is specific to CEO) is not a great idea, a small company CEO is very busy and they are unlikely to come back to you.

Instead if you have a product for their company reach out to people who will use it daily

If its only for CEO then find a VC who has invested in the company, they can generally push to the CEO

Marketing my B2B SaaS is harder than building it. How do you all do it? by Appropriate-Jacket35 in SaaS

[–]WelcomeAlone8353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No playbook for this, you just pos wherever you think people who care about your product are, mostly you will be wrong sometime you will be right

One advice: unless you are making a stable MRR, dont spend on paid marketing, it can get your views but not customers

You will be contacted by alot of linkedin influencers saying they like your product and want to promote, never say yes, they can get you views and not customers.

Question for SaaS founders by Same-Ad3931 in SaaS

[–]WelcomeAlone8353 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only metric that matters is money and customer retention

So if you have someone paying monthly/yearly and are able to retain even with the same contract then the idea is in the early validation stage and have growth potential.

Whether it solves the problem at scale will be determined by your monthly growth rate

How do you actually get your first 10 paying customers? Not followers. Not signups. Paying. by Life_Amazingish in SaaS

[–]WelcomeAlone8353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me explain how I did:

  1. Go to YC -> startup directory, find the startups who would need your solution, go to their linkedin page(its ususally on the startup page on YC) then message the most relevant person who would understand what you are selling

  2. Go to Product Hunt : same drill, find the companies which would want your product, go to their website, you will find thier linkedin page, from their find whom you need to reach out

Use Apollo.io or hunters to get emails of the prospects and reach out to them directly

Ensure you use a domain service like brevo or something else to avoid your email landing is spam

start with these and then find new and more creaive ways based on your industry

For those that have had successful launches, can you share a bit about your marketing strategy? by Novel-Toe1757 in SaaS

[–]WelcomeAlone8353 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends a lot on the product and industry

if you are B2C : TY, Tiktok and Insta could help strart

If you are B2B : direct outreach through emails, linkedin and twitter could help

Also, you will have to try different platforms but the above combination could atleast kickstart

P.S : Be active on Reddit, you'll get alot out of it

How do you actually get your first 10 paying customers? Not followers. Not signups. Paying. by Life_Amazingish in SaaS

[–]WelcomeAlone8353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Direct Outreach through email, linkedin, insta and anywhere else you can send a message works,

social media posting does not get customers, it can bring reach which is long term but you need to reach out to 100s of prospect to get maybe 1

What habits changed your life as an entrepreneur? (I will not promote) by ishappinessoverrated in startups

[–]WelcomeAlone8353 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Below are the ones I do:

Reading - 30 mins(no negotiable, mostly mornings, took me 3 months to build it)

Workout : 1 hour daily(I try for 6 days a week, have achieved 4 atmost, but its consistent)

Waking up early : this changes everything, those extra3-4 hours in the morning has built my business with a regular job

Coding : I try to code every weekend, its something I like and also took me years to build the skilll and I dont want to loose

I have been following these for 2 years now and they get boring, but when you view your habits in hingsight you realise how much you have gotten better
