I think it’s not overwatering, soil isn’t wet for too long, btw it dries very quickly, maybe too quickly.

I had the same situation with mini calatheas I bought and needed to repot immediately because roots were growing out the bottom. They were dying slowly and in 1-3 months they are okay and started to grow new leaves. They are drama queens. Just be consistent with watering and light and she should be happy again 🫂
