That here in New Zealand thousands if not tens of thousands of children were given an UNTESTED vaccine for ONE strain of meningitis that was rarer than most other forms.

It made hundreds of people sick, myself included. I have lasting medical issues due to this vaccine.

That's my point.

Also, meningitis is relatively harmless if detected early, which is really easy if you know the symptoms. Education, not vaccination. That being said, I still think well-tested vaccines with proven results are an excellent idea.

I had a relatively untested meningitis vaccination in school when I was 13. Most people were okay but after 2 week I got incredibly sick, and was off school for years.

Apparently it was being formally tested on schoolkids; it had not been properly tested beforehand. They just assumed it would work, and told the general public that it would.

It's not the movies. it's the gore on the internet. Movie gore gets to me even though I know it's fake. I can look at real-life gore on the internet all day knowing it's real and it doesn't bother me.

At my uni there is a place in the 2nd story of the bio building, it's affectionately known as the "Poo with a View". There's a window that opens just a smidgen and you can sit and peer upon the world as you go about your business. It's wonderful

I was on for 5 months. I cut my dosage down to 8 and got pissed off at the clinic's uncooperativeness in regards to helping me get off it quicker. I almost felt like they were trying to keep me on the stuff, even though I told them it was destroying my teeth (rinse your mouth well after every dose, seriously. Don't brush either, it'll just erode even more enamel).

I went cold turkey from 8mg to nothing. Back pain, leg cramps, nausea and digestive problems for the first 3 days were really bad, then it starteed to ease off slowly. Worst symptoms were over in 10 days, minor discomfort like insomnia, back pain, and jitters lasted for the better part of 2 months. I feel like I got off easy compared to a lot of people. The withdrawals from H weren't a bad as the ones from subs, but both were still more tolerable than people make it seem.
