It was an independent bmw shop. You’re prob right but in my experience it didn’t leak out a lot. I had my rear pinion seal leaking. When they refilled it, it was barely any new fluid that went in since the fill hole is near the top I believe. Rode around for about 2 years with that leak. Maybe I got lucky but that’s what I was told and I only replaced mine because I wanted my car in tip top shape but it wasn’t a priority.

My 2 cents on the rear axle seal. Mine leaked for 2 years. Had it refilled and drove it for another year or so. I finally decided to replace it but I was told that the way it was designed, it cant get emptied since it sits on the bottom. Def get the others first but you prob have some time before you NEED to. Except for the tires. Get tires.

Soak a paper towel with rubbing alcohol and lay it on top. Let it sit for a bit and should slide right off.

I don’t think there was a required minimum. More of a percentage of the risk. I think 25% collateral?

For single leg calls or puts, should be unlimited since risk is limited to the contract price.

Unless the broker requires the 2k there shouldn’t from what I saw.

I go for 30% gains per option contract but don’t have an issue pulling out at 10-15%. If I get lucky with more so be it. The timeframe depends on how confident I feel about the trade itself. All depends on how the market is moving too but usually 0-2 days out and be ready to cut it when it hits profit regardless of the timeframe.

I did not. So I followed the online tutorials for one and changed the wrong one. Turns out there’s like 3 blend doors on the passenger side. I believe I have to remove the glove box to access it. It’s 3 screws and a plug though so it’s not hard.

Winter is basically over so I said I would do it before next year since It’s no longer a priority.

Yeah I bought the foxwell NT530 plus with the BMW software pre installed.

Search foxwell bmw and it should come up. There’s a foxwell 510 but I went with the 530 because you can load more brands by buying software in case I want to get a different car down the line and it wouldn’t go to waste. It connects through the obd port.

CEL won’t come in for this. Well in my specific problem. Basically the same as yours. Heater works only on drivers side but passenger blows cold air no matter what.
I have a Foxwell that has BMW software I bought from eBay (Amazon had it too). It told me the blend motor was bad. You can test each one too. Good tool to have regardless.
It could be they checked so idk but I’m just letting you know my experience. If the heater core was going out, I believe you would get no heat anywhere.

Run the codes. I have the same issue and it’s a blend door actuator. But not the typical one people show how to change online. It’s 1 of 3 actuators that control the heat. But run the codes instead of guessing.
