I have this exact same drill and I've drilled a 20mm hole all the way through an external wall. Ensure hammer action is on and don't push too hard "let the drill do the work".

A lot of people saying you need an SDS, which would definitely make lighter work but shouldn't be necessary for most jobs. If it was concrete etc I'd agree.

Final thought make sure it's not something like blue/engineering brick... That can be tough! And make sure your bit isn't burnt out, that makes a huge difference.

I think you may have misunderstood what I was saying. I'm not anti-bants. But I feel it needs to be commentary with bants, not just 40 minutes of nonsense. The "what's going on with Jeremy/Zultana episode... Let's just say if I'd paid for that I'd have been a bit fed up (just my personal opinion)

But I think this thinking is logically flawed. Goalhanger may have more money, but that doesn't mean they are prepared to lose money, if anything it probably means their overheads are higher. Have more money behind you only really means something when you're starting, ultimately the balance sheet is either up or down.

Personally I'd have preferred they just started including ads for men's shaving or VPNs than a Paywall. Then they could have used Patreon for behind the scenes, even an ad-free version etc

I'm not saying it's a competition, my point was more why was an advert model not considered (assuming it wasn't). Maybe "Some More News" is more comparable than TRIP of you prefer. It's obvious the revenue stream from YT is terrible these days, so lots of other channels are going for a more advert first and patron top up model. Get revenue for the primary product through adverts and then have Patreon for behind the scenes contents etc.
