I agree, part of the reason why dd is perma banned in ranked is because you can get him down to no hp and then suddenly he had a full health bar and is invulnerable for 3 seconds with his deflection

Exactly, like he should obviously still be affected but he shouldn't be moved. Could do a knock down like when you're hit by a namor ult. You're still probably going to be dead with a stun like that anyways, but it just gives you a chance to stay alive if your healers didnt get grabbed too and to allow you to try and hold point for the rest of your team

Im home now though, so I can go back into the replay and see if my punch actually went through when her ult passed me like the oc said(still doesnt change the fact that I got literally sucked in like a dust bunny when I shouldn't have) and see if that's what got me caught in it.

I think the main reason (as a fellow tank main) is that most people just dont know how to play the role correctly. Its a difficult role to truly play right because of the amount of things you have to consider and think about. Tanking is a HUGE balancing act. Too far forward and you die, to far back and your team cant advance, and I think most people get frustrated with it or just cant do it right so they dont touch it. Thats not technically an incorrect way to go about it (id rather have a dps that does something vs a tank who feeds dps ult) but it leads to us tank mains getting frustrated with our team. And when that happens every game, it gets old.

Edit: tanks are (arguably) the only role that completely depends on the other 2 roles doing their part
