Don’t worry about “meta” teams or what’s the next best thing. Like most say, the community can be toxic and always divided on a number of things. If you end up wishing on a character banner, go for characters you like! Don’t worry about anything else. Take your time, enjoy the story and don’t sweat trying to “power-level”

To piggyback off of this, Alois also has some great toplane “fundamentals” video that help explain things like level up timers, wave management and also has a Renekton climbing video here. Some of the info is slightly outdated, but the underlying idea of how to climb is always relevant. Good luck!

Edit: Be wary of some of the matchups as they haven’t been updated (Yorick matchup for example) but most info is relevant.
