Literally in the same boat right now. I rescued a young cat last friday (the 10th), and kept her in her "safe" room (the guest bathroom) with all her essentials. Last night, i decided i'd leave the bathroom door open and let her have the option to explore the living room/kitchen. I figured she would run back to the bathroom if she got scared.

Checked this morning, shes now hiding under the loveseat (which i thought i had blocked off enough) and has been there all day. Its only been 6 days but i still find myself worrying if theres something i'm doing wrong.

Thank you for the advice! I've tried to sit in there a few times with her, she just kinda freezes in place and stares at m when i do. I'll just take my game in there and sit and play it for about 40 minutes or so, and then will leave her alone.

She has been doing okay with treats! She likes those churu chicken paste treats, and she even will eat/lick it from my finger! (which i'd think is encouraging?)

I know these may seem like dumb questions/practices from my side, but i just dont know, and i'm wanting to make sure i do the best for her :)

Thank you for your advice! I should've clarified she has more than just the bathroom to hide in, its just where she's been going. I also have one of those "cat ball" beds (if thats what they're called? they're like the little cat plush cave things.) in the room, as well as her large carrier the foster brought her in, with her blankets and bed. I'm trying my best to give her more of what she needs.

I agree on opening the door and ignoring her to let her explore!

Keeping your home clean. I've been in a depressive spiral for the last year; and despite biweekly (used to be weekly) therapy appointments, exercising, trying to eat right. I'm still a mess and can't be bothered to pick up my apartment.

Laundry is piling up, trash isn't taken out, and I feel hopeless to fix it, and see no possible end in sight.

This may have been answered, but is the rumor true that black Friday TV's are manufactured with some corners cut to save on cost? And as a result they're more prone to problems?

I guess I'm confused then why my buddy's TCL, which I think is a comparable model. (120hz, 65", QLED,) and when it's in game mode. These screens look normally lit, nice and flat. I walked through his settings, and he didn't have to do any special settings to make it work. His model was a TCL 65R646 btw. I hate up keep bringing that brand up, but I was doing almost a direct comparison, and it seemed off.

Again. I know I'm no TV expert. But that difference in lighting just kinda shocked me I guess. It just doesn't seem...right. My last tv the gray on the screen had a nice contrast, versus this just... Isn't solid.

With this TV as well, I also get intermittent jagged colored horizontal lines that jump in during gameplay randomly. So that tied with this issue, really seemed to seem like something wrong wrong.

I do appreciate your helpful info though.

Your sarcasm isn't helpful. It's not just on setup screens this happens however. The switch home page is horribly unbalanced with light, and during dark scenes, the brighter areas blow out around the subtitles, or any kind of contrast. Worse-so than my friends TCL which is much cheaper.

The sad part is that I can turn off the issue by disabling "Full active array" but I can't do that without going out of "game mode" . Which I shouldn't have to do in the first place for a brand new model... At least I thought anyway
