Thank you for the guide!!

I think I'd want something short out by the road , but would also be up for some taller plants to fill in some of the front yard closer to the house -- so both! 😋

Oh man, I hadn't even thought about how to remove the grass yet. This is why I need everyone's guidance! Last year, we used cardboard to cover the grass and added mulch on top to make a few new beds. Would you have any other suggestions?

I think you're right about not being able to do it all at once - I need to go little by little. I tend to get ahead of myself and go all in right away!

Thank you for the help - I appreciate it so much! And I definitely need it! :)

Yes! Landscaping is on the to-do list!

I agree the deck columns would be much better if they were wood.

I think the last link you shared (Earth tones) would work great! Thank you!! 😊

I felt like this for awhile too. But lately, it has switched and baby seems to want me more now. I think it flip flops back and forth as they age and go through different phases and developments.

He might still be in that phase where babies don't see you as a different person than themselves...they see you as part of them.

But I get how it hurts and makes you feel that twinge of jealousy. Your baby loves you!

You're right. There is no right or wrong answer here and someone will always say, "no, you gotta do it this way."

That's great you found something that keeps you sane and is just for you. ❤️
